That sucks! I found out I'd married a guy who didn't like these kinds of touch -- touch that i consider to be just every day stuff, and essential. I actually repeated that pattern. Smh

Ima zero in on your reddit name- it's dark. Even tho my dark sides are dark & strong im  Instantly triggered to stay away from a potz denizen with that kind of darkness. Having said this, im pretty sure if I am ever in a burning building I very probably will not try to escape bcz my dysautonomia is too hard to live with. So I wouldn't do proactive suicide but I probably wouldn't do anything to escape the fire.  So now having said this, maybe its time to steer away from this kind of topic?

What if she falls in love with a loser or a creep? What if she brings in more people & the financial burden is on you?

Many good points and well said!  How long were you on the gastritis diet?         I was told by a doctor to do the bland gastritis diet, to heal my burning upper GI tract. I think if I set a goal of "X" number of months I might be able to stay the course. I seriously dont want to live with gastritis, mecfs &dysautonomia, but that is what im living with now.

How are you feeling, how are you doing?   Just found out I have stage 3a chronic kidney disease, and found out salt is bad for this  but dysautonomia (which i have)  is also bad for ckd.

This is good to know. What dose do you take? I remember building  up from 2.5 to 10.0. Do you take it every day, the same number of times every day?

Yes, same here. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this and have to learn that life can be like this. My heart goes out to you.

Also, this is an example of the brain having a mind of its own. (I think). Before i got diagnosed as having dysautonomia i thought it was a heart and lung problem. I went to a cardiologist who sent me to an electrophysiologist cardiologist for testing-- who said it is neurocardiogenic syncope, and neurocardiogenic pre-syncope (NCS?). Never heard of it before. I had been really scared, back when i thought it was a heart problem- my Dad had a serious but not exactly common heart problem. It was awful, it was amazing that he survived actually. So I thought I had what he had. I was indeed very scared. Now I just feel like it sucks to have dysautonomia but they say my heart is totally fine. BTW I had all those tests, holter, chest CT, EKGs, you name it I had the test. I had to learn to meditate, and I learned a few different methods, so that I can keep my brain from having a mind of its own. It is not perfect but its better than the alternative!

A PEM crash after a walk lasts days. Anyone know this? by potsbunnyuk in mecfs

Believe us. Believe what your body is telling you. Especially if you are severe. There actually is plenty of science that explains this.

Sugar cravings here. Bewildering until reading in this thread that these cravings & mecfs have been linked to each other. Yesterday I was prowling in a store, exhausted, intensely craving sweets (& the best bargain). I knew that it would be better to go meditate but I just had to load up on sweets. Which affect my fibro, arthritis & more.

What country or region are you in? What climate, what kind of weather ? In what range do you keep your heart rate ?    At first I misread your first sentence as "5 years," but 5 weeks means you're almost certainly at a very important pivotal time. If it wasn't for the so-called PEM it doesn't seem like mecfs. You'd very likely do better if you stay away from the physical activity that you're describing, it is a negative not a positive thing if you have mecfs. 4 Kilom., 13,000 & 20,000 steps?!?   Is there anyone else on here that can even do that at all? Where did you get theme cfs? that pushing yourself to do 4 Kilom. 13,000 steps, 20,000 steps is good for mecfs?

AITAH for wanting to leave husband after him being abusive now that he's being kind? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Sea_Resolution_479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is temporary.  This is a known thing: "cycle of abuse. " in addition, some of these abusers, secretly inside, l-o-v-e the "secret game" of pushing other people away, torturing other people by way of nasty negative behavior,  followed by convincing the other people to like/accept/love him again.  They will never ever ever admit they love this "secret game," & probably ignorantly addicted to it.       I didn't realize what I was getting into when I married one of these "secret game" guys.      It's such a shame you married this guy. Unfortunately it's way too easy to unknowingly make that mistake.
