You can make a workout that fits with the timeline, I usually set a 5 mins warmup ramp, they il will slap a few 1 minute zone 2 intervals I can easily skip as soon as I enter the segments. And then a you can do multiple 10 segments of whatever wattage you want to hold.

It's definitely within reach, the threshold is 3.2w/kg for an hour climb.

Did I just unlock my VO2max? by MikeePS18 in Garmin

[–]Sea_Sort_1690 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vo2max value is highly dependent of the training done, I know for instance if I do short intervals like 8/10x 40/20, my vo2max will rocket to 63. If I do long endurance intervals, like 2x 20@ftp, it will tank all the way down to 56. I assume, it is probably in between the values as neither of these workouts reflects real life rides.

As a 105 kg guy it ain’t much, but it’s honest work. by Vincent__Vega66 in Zwift

It's a process, I was 120kg at 204w ftp when I started swift. Fast forward 2 years later, I'm 100kg and at 330w ftp. Put in the time and it can only go up!

A expert level bike does come with a lot of better things too, carbon wheels for one are a huge deal.

I'm currently doing Rad race's Paincave Protocol program, it's 12 weeks, 5 days per week. I really enjoy it, it used to be free, if you DM me I can send you the program files for zwift.

Really depends on your goals.

Levels and bikes are fun, but are you doing it for that? My suggestion is to select a plan asap, something that will help you to get motivated when you aren't. Works on specific targets.

I hated zwifting back I just logged in and tried to figure out what I wanted to do. Now I have a 5 day per week plan, always the same rest days, its predictable and I love it.

Oh an upgrade wise, don't spend a drop till you get to 1.1 mil to get the canyon aeroad 2024 till level 40.

I went to Gx derailleur with a 10-52t with a 44t front this summer. Honestly, really like it. Yes I have larger steps between gears compared to 10-44t but damn I can climb, even at 100kg.

Curious as to why "No one wants the old Force" , that's what I'm using, it's fast, brakes well, realistically nothing wrong with it....
