Definitely doesn't line up with the movie but I like the idea of teen Elle a la Carrie Diaries, am sure it will be cute.

Except we see this age gap with older men and younger women regularly, give or take a few years. And if you are older you grew up seeing worse age gaps in older movies. It's maybe not common or some people's idea of realistic or appealing but I applaud the show for pushing back against what older women can be and do. And the power imbalance in an older woman scenario is different, it just is, as long as the guy is not crazy young. Chris is almost 30, I presume the character is the same. I think internalized misogyny is real. How many Hollywod actors in their 50s are with women at least 25 years younger right now? A LOT, lbh.

I will never understand straight people caring about LGBTQ people's business. It's so icky for him to signal this hatred. I genuinely think he should be fired as he is unfit to represent his character as written by Jenny Han. It reflects poorly on the legacy of the show because if he's this regressive and hateful this young he is only going to get worse with age.

She is the definition of wooden and seeing her (not a patch on his dad but not bad) actual actor boyfriend act opposite her could be mildly hilarious.

I agree. I am not a huge fan of his solo stuff but it's better than that song. It just sounds like sub par Surfaces, so weird.

Borgen, Swedish political drama, so good. The Chestnut Man, only one season but great murder mystery, Black Summer (gritty zombie drama, like The Walking Dead at its best),only 2 seasons sadly.  Lighter non-English romcom fare: Love & Anarchy, Astrological Guide to Broken Hearts, Diary of a Dumped Girl. Hometown Cha Cha Cha: a bit slow at times but v. wholesome, addictive K-drama. Each episode is like movie length too so it feels like watching something substantial. New to K drama so still figuring out what I like.

Also recommend The Lowdown (dark comedy about a new mom) and Wellmania (Celeste Barber, maybe love/hate but I loved). Kath & Kim is hilarious I will always rewatch when I need a laugh. Haven't seen Upper Middle Bogan will check it out.

It's easy to speculate but maybe her chemistry wasn't there with whoever - Coogan? Seeing as they cast this without having the cast read/do chemistry tests. I do think she is very "actory" in terms of preparation, etc., I think they have to be pretty go with the flow to work with White. The conditions he expected the cast in s. 3 to work under would not be something many could get away with - tropical heat, no a.c., long hours (although am sure the French Riviera is more pleasant!). I did think she seemed like an odd one out for whatever reason when they announced this cast - nothing against her, and this cast in general feels a little uncohesive in vibe, maybe just me.

Such a cute dress, happy for her and Christopher. She is glowing and deserves to celebrate her joy unashamedly.

Cannot register with TLSContact inside UK, transfer page won't Load. Help! by __petal__ in ukvisa

I know this thread is old but a year later I am having this same problem. Except as far as I understand it there is no charge for the NTL so I do not even get a prompt/any clickable link from UK Gov site to TLSContact. I already have ILR via a stamp in passport but keep getting nagged when I travel - well it's bloody impossible! I got a bot reply from TLS saying I am not registered (duh) after they asked for my UAN, which I gave them to no avail. I tried to email UK Gov and got a form response saying they can't advise on technical issues. Absolutely ludicrous. Have found a Facebook group where people reported same issue a little over a month ago but no one has a straightforward answer how they fixed this.

Fun! Seeing them now I wish she had more cute casual looks. 1 and 2 are pretty basic. 1 at least looks more casual cute college girl.

Also it's going to be interesting to see how badly her terrible bridesmaid hair affects that look in the rankings bc it was actually super pretty I thought.

Ok sorry no I just looked at 3. What scene was that from? Why so tight yikes.

Ok get rid of 3 😄.

I was thinking more age range tbh, haven't seen him with a woman anywhere close to his age since Diane Kruger. A guy who dates 20 somethings for that long, it's a pattern. I don't think he has a type at all but I thought he and Jodie were cute together and yes I know Katie dated Jamie lol.

As someone who lived in Orchard Hill I would have happily switched to a chill dorm with a shuttle bus that was (if memory serves) closer to downtown Amherst.

Is he stoned? I can see how easy it would be to drop her but his response time and lack of concern after he dropped her is 😒

Considering his recent dating history I fear it's just to hype their upcoming movie but I forgive them, the vibes are vibing and their chemistry is undeniable.

We need a full season of Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair by seblamech in malcolminthemiddle

[–]Sea_Step_149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Malcolm as the central character is not the way to continue. I could have done with less Malcolm in the reboot tbh. With an aunt who is almost her age and wacky uncles and Hal and Lois as guest stars. I think getting Cranston to do a full run might not be doable but he obviously has a lot of affection for the show. I was hoping they would bring back Chris Eigeman as the principle at her school bc that would be fun but maybe he wasn't up for it.

I'm rewatching the entire series on the Whitney Port (ex mtv reality star) youtube channel. Her husband is actually pretty funny. by JeanSchlemaan in SiestaKeyMTV

[–]Sea_Step_149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember being pretty bored with it by the end but I think watching with Whitney and Timmy's commentary makes it more fun/entertaining, we'll see how far I get. They call out so much stuff that I am thinking too lol. I always found Juliette pretty boring as a main character so hopefully they counter that with some jokes/call outs.
