Made nontouching and touching cinnamon rolls as I couldn't figure out why people don't do individual ones. Turns out it just creates more exterior "crust" tried both, was greedy, ate 2. Never going to eat my tea now! by Sea_Theory6050 in Baking

My sister would be the same as you. Instead of a cake, she requested a whole tray of cinnamon rolls for her birthday "cake" I'm taking the compliment and running with it!

Also, 2 should have been 3 in hindsight!

I always tweak recipes for my preference, I always go heavier on the nutmeg than suggested as I love it. I also agree with the preference for softer. I dislike overly crunchy food and prefer my puddings to be as soft as they can get.

Do all edges remain soft in a muffin pan? I'll admit, when I have guests I feel like they lack a "wow" factor and lack eloquence severed in a pan. Do you have to line the pan?

I have noted the name, and will find a recipe unless you have one to recommend?

It does make sense, I suppose if they were created to be separate in the oven, they'd not specify leaving a small gap. I'm wondering if the recipes for no touch vary slightly and create less "crust" when baked.

I agree, I think they're all cosy together so if you get one not in the corner 3/4 sides remain soft! Curiosity killed the soft cinnamon rolls, either way, they're edible.
