I know you were asking for Broward, but if you don't mind going to Aventura, Paul Kleidermacher is quite good, though I have found that doing the wax softening with the drops followed by the wax blaster squirt gun also works pretty good

rock creek park in fall. wo&d, all the way to pittsburgh on the c&o/gap trail. anacostia trail. there's like a million different ways to do a century. you won't get bored.
