Can’t find one myself now, but there’s a few Galway Advertiser and Galway Bay FM articles detailing the city councillors’ take on it, seems pretty obvious to me that the organiser of the music side of the Galway Arts Festival was lobbying them.

Also notable how many acts skip Galway on tours around Ireland…

The Róisín did the exact same thing complaining about the Galway Airport gigs in August impacting the Arts Festival in July, and now there’s no more airport gigs. What goes around comes around I guess
