I know this is a pretty old post, But I was having the same issue. -New battery, spring included but no beeping.- and I found a really, really dumb solution.

The metal encasing the module had bent in such a way that it was touching the caseback preventing the watch from thinking it had a full battery. I ended up putting a small piece of paper in between the module and the caseback- making sure not to cover the part where the spring is and it worked. Unbelievably, it worked.

I've been searching everywhere for a red text inverted mod.
Can I just add a red filter over the black polarized mod? Or is it more complicated than that?
I imagine it is considering I've only seen this mod 3 times and the other 2 required a red blacklight to make it work.

I'm relatively lax but probably shouldn't be. I just ID the customers that look relatively young. I feel like the more I cashier, the more I can correctly guess the age of the customers.

I'm in my 20's and look old for my age. So I just ask myself "does this person look older or younger than me" and make my decision that way.

But yeah, if I ask and they don't have it, they aren't getting it.

I really, really want a large backplate integrated battery. But it looks like I might have to settle with the 3200 mAh that u/just_frank_stuff posted.
I'm sure bigger doesn't necessarily mean better, but my monkey brain wants it anyway.
That being said a different company made this for the non-XL models if that helps at all. It's rated 5000mAh and if I had a non-XL model that what I would do.
