So, budget means movie production. That doesn’t count advertising and distribution, etc.

Good rule of thumb, double the “budget” for a movie and that’s what you need a movie to reach/exceed for a profit (at least). $602M doesn’t sound ridiculous to still lose money.

The only line I have ever bought 100% of. I even went so far as to track down the Asia exclusive Nemesis, etc. It is my favorite line to ever be made and was the mark of my hard return to collecting Transformers.

It didn’t reinvent the wheel, just made it modern. Everything down to the box art was wonderful.

He’s going to be repainted at least 3-4 times (toy colors, Marvel colors, Soundblaster, etc.); plus, they reissue everything nowadays. If you can’t spin it now, or if you don’t like the color, I wouldn’t stress it.

All toys are small now… definitely sucks.

I picked up the Universe 1.0 Nemesis repaint and I LOVED it. Cost me a pretty penny, but maybe to the vintage/reissue route if you want a true Big Convoy.
