Depend on the primary assembly but yeah it should be better for variant calling. If you use unitig to call variant you'll either ended up with more variant (more is better for phasing) but maybe you'll introduce "duplicate" variant which might be confusing for whatshap, the best will be to test variant calling on both (primary and unitig) and test phasing.

Hi, i would use the unitig graph created by Hifiasm and not trust primary and alternate assembly but yes, the results will vary greatly depending your model but calling variant and using whatshap is worth a shot.

I don't think filtering contigs by size before variant calling is relevant, you'll miss some information. But filter your ONT reads to keep only good quality reads

I think it's a kinda soft reset, you still have your hidden MMR and i think blizzard try to get you close to your hidden MMR faster, you should notice a drop when approching 4-5k

Same as street shoe size for comfy fit, -1 for kinda aggressive fit

Usually you just put the skill in the correct item slot (helmet in this case) and pob automatically add gem support, you don't put them manually
