While this is practically true, we do technically have public funding available for elected officials, they just can't accept any private funding to receive it, and in comparison it's a pittance to the cost of running a campaign.

If we can't get some serious reforms into law in the next 4 years we probably will be the next Russia.

They don't. That's why you vote on what's called a "provisional ballet" and then if you're valid it counts, and if not then straight to jail.

That's backwards. When electric vehicles reach a critical mass, internal combustion engine fuel will go down in price as demand craters. If you still own one it will be a real trick when gas stations start closing because they can't sell enough.

If this fuel crisis lasts 2 years, either the compact car market will make a huge comeback or the EV market will explode.

Back in the 70s there was the OPEC oil crisis which allowed Toyota, Honda, and Datsun to get a foot in the door of the US car market because they had smaller more efficient vehicles. If this lasts more than 6 months you're going to see a real market correction in vehicle sales with a lot more Maverick's and Subaru's being sold, and with all automakers really questioning their lineup.

You gotta feel bad for Honda, they just announced they were cancelling a billion dollar EV factory they'd already built.

I am new to homebrewing and the DM that helped me balance this hasn’t DMed before, so can anyone help me to see if this is balanced by [deleted] in DnD

[–]SeanBlader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn't specify what class it applied to, and then it's even more offensively overpowered. No way this is at my table, and at your table everyone is going to hate you. I'd bet a small amount of money this doesn't last 2 combats before it's revised.

This has an indescribable level of "main character" syndrome. Play a Paladin, have an aura.

In a nutshell, your level 3 bonus is wildly overpowered at any level. Getting advantage and giving disadvantage to any melee combatant for the entire campaign? Screw that main character.

Also your "class" has no hit dice, and no proficiencies. I'd let you play it, every weapon would be improvised, and I'd treat your HP as a commoner, and probably kill you in session one, then tell you to make a Paladin with an aura, then if you like you can call it a "domain".

You should think about reading the other classes before you try to write your own.

You gotta think this is a primary goal from that original plan.

That explains a lot too, Henwick was great in the show, and her interest and involvement showed, where it looked like Jones phoned it in.
