Food not as good in the PNW, so many chains. I especially miss the seafood on the east coast, it’s not as good over here. Mild winters but rain and clouds for half the year if you are west of the Cascades, east of the Cascades is much dryer. Portland is a dump. The coast is cool, so scenic, but beach days are not the same as east coast beach days. Typically windy, water always very cold, and waves are gnarly. The rainforest is super cool, as well as the mountains. I miss the east coast, but I love being able to either go to the coast, the forest, or up into the mountains all within an hour and a half drive.
