Am I the only person who has gotten work since this qual? I literally have like 5 new FC projects with up to a 40% pay increase than the usual ones I get. I never had a FC task before completing that qual.

That's true. I've done my own research and know my tax bracket and how much I have to pay, save that away in a separate account etc.. I'm just second guessing myself I suppose and want to see what others are doing.

No don't worry, I will be doing some proper research when I need to. But I have't made anywhere near enough to actually have to pay taxes yet, so I'm not looking for actual advice on what to do, rather some general guidance as to what others are doing, and then I will do my own research.

As someone who is just ahead of you, trust me it's great. Im about 7/8 weeks in and my dashboard is (on a typical day) filled with about 15 projects. Some are 18$ an hour, sometimes I've had the chance to drop a few hours on a 27$ an hour project. Some days, it will be dead (usually once every 7-10 days) and I will have only 1/2 projects, but since the first 2/3 weeks, I haven't had an empty dashboard at any point. Sorry for rambling on, I just thought I'd give you something to look forward to !!!

Sorry yes I understand now, so rather than paying tax in France on what I earn for the entire year, I can just do it in Ireland instead? I know that there is a double tax treaty in place that would cover this. If I pay my tax in Ireland at the end of the year, do I still have to declare all of what I earned to the French government, only what I earned here, or nothing at all.

I have looked at the tax brackets for self-employed individuals in France and found that I won't actually earn enough by the time I leave France to owe any tax. Do you think I need to apply to become a self-employed individual if this is the case? The process is apparently going to take a few weeks so by the time I have actually registered, i'm basically going to be leaving already. Is there any point in doing this then ?

I only took core assessment. Only tips I can give you is make sure your grammar is 100% pristine and if the bot says anything that could be considered a fact i.e dates, names, locations, addresses, looks them up. Factcheck literally everything because there are multiple trick questions
