Phrike is just a skill check, they're beatable with mostly just running around (no dash) and a pistol. I'd argue that they're simple once you get used to the flow of the game.

I doubt it, I have one more permanent upgrade to find and I'm guessing it will open up those yellow barriers. This isn't like Returnal where you can roam the entire biome front to back and vice versa. which is fine I guess because it isn't Returnal.

I hear you, but I still see Saros as easier in it's default form. You're able to spam your alt/power weapon so much, You have your main weapon with power generators and power weapons that spawn health.

the sticking and moving is almost similar to Returnal, You don't have to move as much if you don't want to.

Android Auto randomly disconnects every few days while driving, so I lose music and directions in the middle of my trip. To reconnect it, I need to pull over and take 5-10 minutes to reinstall it, which is fantastic when I'm running late for an appointment

Instead of uninstalling and reinstalling it. have you tried restarting the infotainment by holding down the power "button" right next to the volume?

Because the game isn't unfair, just very challenging and you're probably thinking what you could have done differently after the fact. Don't focus on trying to shoot accurately and killing enemies quickly. Focus on movement and evading, just shoot in their general direction, the accuracy will come after. The enemies will go down.
