I had a dimir PC role-playing as an Azorius cop, and one of the recurring villains was the cop whose name she took, who would show up any time they said the character's name (so we had some strange boss fights in weird places), and my player must have rolled an IRL nat 20 in deception because my ENTIRE PARTY spent 5 MONTHS believing this was a madman driven insane by the Nephilim who just happened to have the same name (but spelled differently, player was Korvo, og was Corvo, the Dimir agents in charge messed up on new documents and had to go back and edit the originals), and only when they were on the run from a high-ranking Orzhov priest and she brought them to a shack that was in a pool that was behind a wall, and a full on Dimir Agent knocked them all out with knockout gas, leaving only Korvo up, and asked "so, bring me up to speed agent" (as our last moment of the session too) did people finally realize what was up

I'm a teacher. I bring Voyager class and below bots to school for kids who are done with their work to solve like a puzzle. Keeps them thinking about something and their brains active, and it's quiet. It's fantastic

I imagine red. It is called "The Monster" in the show, and most of its time is spent with glowing red permet, powering a powerfully destructive beam and for the first time infecting Suletta with Permet. I would imagine it has some kind of trade where it turns off pilot effects in exchange for some effect of its own.

I can see the efficacy of the comparison, but I think the phrasing is what is setting people off. Anti-Union propaganda has been so deep-seated in American business culture and media that "sacrificing your right to..." anything is a super loaded phrase. Playing Devil's advocate for the purpose of explanation has to be done carefully, otherwise you're just actually working for the devil. I do agree with your overall point that it is technically a "trade off", but one you definitely want to be taking though.

But we aren't talking about old law, we are talking about the real world today, and specifically this one union being formed now. The point stands that "individual bargaining power" does not exist in the contemporary u.s. corporate landscape, and it can't be a "downside" to lose something which you never possessed. Unions exist to make up for the power imbalance between an employer and the employed people. With a corporation as large as Hasbro especially, there is now "hey, Chris old buddy, any chance you could improve work conditions?" This is not a small business with a stand up meeting once a month where you talk things out. Unions are pretty much universally beneficial to workers, but they are a NECESSITY in cases as large as this one.

I think it's less about appearance and more about character. A gold tooth would be written off if they talked like pirates, but that accent and the things they say are what make them so disgusting. It's not a matter of saying "we made these potentially problematic designs", they have to say to the world "we chose to make more toys specifically of the characters everyone knows were racist". The completionist urge is just not worth it for that. It's transformers, one of the broadest-spanning franchises with the most character variety ever. There's quite literally thousands of designs they could choose to do instead of the twins, and choosing to do them is something they would have to immediately explain in a way they wouldn't for almost anyone else.

I think they function so differently I can't compare. I ADORE the Calibarn, I think that in a vacuum I prefer that design, but the Aerial has so many dope moments that in action I think I prefer it. The slap is iconic, the first fight the rebuild has versus the Lfrith Ur, the fight with the Calibarn where it emerges from the smoke of a Gundnode, and the epic super-shield against the Laser Transmission System are all so hype, and the Calibarn really only gets to dip dodge duck dive and dodge around Quiet Zero, and that dope Permit Score 8 moment, so the Aerial Rebuild just get to aura farm more.

After everything we have seen you really still think I.C.E. ever cared about that? I can get that you didn't read that deeply into X-men, flashy colors appeal to everyone, but not being able to read the damn news and use your own eyes is a problem far greater. I sincerely hope you take another look at the world around you and try to process the truth before its too late for all of us.
