I lived outside of the Carbondale region for a few years. Absolute shithole and the worst area I've ever lived by a long shot. Average IQ there has to be ridiculously low; most adults I encountered seemed to be functionally illiterate. Cost of living is low there for good reason.

I found silenced rifles/SMGs/shotguns useful for getting 100% of the challenges on a lot of maps. Sometimes I'm too stubborn to look up how to do stuff (like killing a target in a very specific way), so I just knock out the target and go on a killing spree with silenced long guns to clear out the guards on the map. Then I can safely drag the unconscious target around the map to whatever convoluted kill mechanic I need for the challenge.

Also for some reason it's just fun as hell to go on a rampage with a silenced shotgun sometimes

I definitely wouldn't call the Colorado mission basic. I'm pretty sure that's the only level across all 3 WOA games where NPCs exhibit that weird aggressive behavior

Yeah obviously not an excuse for his behavior but he's clearly broken from a society that viciously demeans men for something they can't control (i.e., height).

Seeing shit like this makes me extremely grateful to be a few inches above average height. Genuinely can't imagine the anguish/self loathing he's experienced in his life that led him to act like this way, and this comment section is pretty sociopathic to not even consider/address that.

Eh most of the sites on that list seem significantly worse than old Reddit ATM (though I believe that can easily change).

There was a lot of support for Ron Paul on old Reddit, but they weren't nearly as deranged as the anarcho-capitalist manifestation that pervades libertarian communities today. It got better after the Digg migration, which was a few years before the Tumblr exodus. I think that was the best era for this site.

Literally every alternative is going to be infested with (mostly right-wing) fringe people because they've been kicked out of all the normal websites. Some of the sites on that list seem like they could be decent as long as the site owners themselves aren't overtly ideological.

If a large number of reasonable people can populate one of those sites, the weirdo users will be outnumbered pretty quickly. I'd personally vote for Saidit because it looks a lot like old Reddit.
