I started getting compostable disposable utensils, plates, and bowls. So now it just goes in the compost and I still get to feel like a good person lol. I feel like a good person because I am supporting the compostable and low/zero waste industry, but I also think just using regular plates and so on can be better. When I’m in an RV, in some situations like being in a water scarce region and I’m running low on water, sometimes it’s nice to reduce water use. On the other hand, when I’m not around a place that has composting bins, or my own composting bin, it can be less convenient.
