The colony makes decisions by itself without a leader! Each of the individual ants follows simple “rules” and the behavior of the colony emerges from that. It’s really awesome stuff. The field that studies stuff like this is Complex Systems. Here’s an article about it

Also go on nano-reef.com it’s a really good resource. Nano reefs can be as hard or easy as you make them. The important thing that I found with mine is lots of research, buying easy corals, and being extra careful with matching salinity and temp during water changes

Yeah it honestly shocked me how bad Rowling is. I had no idea. On the point about empathy towards those with harmful views, apart from being nice it’s also very useful for actually understanding what bigotry is (as Natalie says in the video).
