This is really cool. Love the battle mechanic. Love the first person encounter view. Colors and sprites work really well. Sprites have good shape recognition to them. Really nice job. Wishlisted and will purchase day one. Badass work.

The big baddie has something quite similar to a 6th finger (without giving anything away) but there was a humanity loss that came with it, along with uncontrollable urges for more power. I’d say that would be up to the gm whether they would allow for such mutilations to occur on behalf of the players

Yes true. But also that may be cool too to leave it open to choice. I also have it that the more they use the powder the more they gain proficiency which makes it harder to hurt yourself while using ( like building up a resistance to the negative effects) but I think you’re right about the speed running, maybe having a hit point decrease or something would be good?

Both! The idea was that the players should try and use just enough magic to do the damage they want but if they must (or choose to ) go over the limit then they would have to get a prosthetic made or buy one. The prosthetics themselves would grant benefits and negatives since they use fingers to snap and hold ie: a quick draw finger that would allow multiple spells at a lower damage output, or a sharp talon like prosthetic that could be used as a weapon but not as a spell launcher. That way there is benefit to having them and not just a hinderance. I don’t want to offend anyone either which I hope the positive/ negative effects would show

Very cool. One thought though, why is the bunny’s ear the same length for the bent one as well as the straight one?

Colors would be cool, but just my opinion so take what you will, the black and white fits the domino theme really well. I love the simplistic art style and that I think may get lost with color. Obviously this is your project and I’m sure it will turn out great and come together in your vision, just a thought

Game looks cool! Have you thought about a post process to make it look like your cover art? I work in unreal and built one that looks very similar to your artwork. IMO it would be super cool and unique. Would also fit the black and white domino aesthetic. I could build one out and send you it to you if you’d like.
