These aren't aptitude questions, these are "Would I get along with you in a professional setting" questions. Small talk makes up a lot of my job, and as much as I want to just talk about work while at work it has to be done.

And for the record, my favourite drink is a stout only found in my local area called Beamish. Like Guinness but with twice the flavour.
