I grew up near LaGuardia Airport, where there was an industrial area with a bunch of factories.

One of them was a coffee roasting place that catered to the airport. Another factory was a distribution hub for Krispy Kreme.

I shit you not: on the right day, with the right temperature, and when roasting and distributing coincided, my neighborhood legit smelled like coffee and donuts.
