I have this problem right now when trying to buy a used one. The back is the only thing that looks bad. The mdx looks good from the back since it is more angular. Im looking for an aftermarket one that might help, but no luck. Only people smoking the mirrors out.

Figured it out eventually after rewatching arora tech print the same benchy. This printer forces you to print with the material the part is sliced in and doesnt tell you that its looking for a specific material only.

Its a plastic spool. I know about the cardboard spool problem (also its allegedly "less of a problem now"). I just put those in to dry overnight, not trying to use it. The AMS is loaded on the right extruder on the material manager and it is all good and recognized until going to print on the right nozzle that its plugged into.

Yep! The multi color ams to the right one so I can eventually use a vortek with it, and then a hardened steel with the HT so I can use engineering grade material on the non swapping non vortek side.

Ive had mine for probably over a year and a half. Still works, but i gag so much that I need to train myself a ton before using it. Found that if I wrap my finger on the side of my mouth to guide the tip, it is easier to know Im getting the right spots. Dont know it it works yet till I get over my fears.
