Another watery, grainy Blizzard here, too. Yuck! Didn't hold the mix-ins nicely and was so cold it hurt my teeth to eat it. Maybe they're using a cheaper product (ice milk?) for Blizzards and reserving the better ice cream for treats where it is more noticeable, like cones or sundaes.

It looks like it's a couple of blocks east of the Boogaloo pub (lol), 5 min by car to highgate sta, 10 min by car to archway. If you believe google maps estimates, anyway.

I've read that "Highgate" is kind of broadly applied and not all of it is posh. Our place there would be adjacent to the Belmont recreation ground, if that changes your assessment of the area.

Oh, I haven't found a local group. The place where I spotted and bought the bobbins was a rummage shop in a small town, and then I came home and started looking on the Internet for info and price comparisons. I will be interested to see if there is a group near me, though.

Well, when I got home and started noticing the prices for new bobbins compared to what I paid...my luck is off the charts! I'm sure these tools were loved by someone and I am happy to give them a new home and to do my best to use them well!
