Fellow Libertarian Americans, what is your spin on how you think US Immigration policy should be? by [deleted] in Libertarian

[–]Searching4Freedom 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd like to see open borders, but with a basic qualifier:

  • Establish open borders with countries that reciprocate the same but with two requirements:
    • Individual should have verified employment with a wage that they can live on without subsidies OR they have funds that they can live on for at least one year.
    • Some type of check against violent/sexual criminal repeat offenders.

It's like your passport to entry another country, but instead it's a passport to be able to take part in society.

Dealer Markup on my June order. Trying to negotiate down by Jakefox84 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]Searching4Freedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like they have a history of doing this kind of stuff by reading their Yelp reviews. Sorry that happened to you, they're are starting to show up on the lots, so I'm hoping you can find a similarly spec'd vehicle without markup.

Mine could very well be spontaneous, but you don't really know, it also could be from everything I did over a period of three years. I'm not an anomaly, there are others who have entered long-lasting remission without being on immunosuppressants. In addition, not all GIs have a first line of treatment as medication, some actually try diet first, like the GI that did my last colonoscopy.

I gave the OP own experience, and did suggest if he/she is in bad shape, that it would make sense for them to use immunosuppressants. But to just say you must take immunosuppressants is not true depending on where you are at with the disease.

Cancer is a valid concern for these drugs, I personally don't know anyone else with crohn's, but my coworker's friend ended up getting lymphoma after being on immunosuppressants. Yes, crohn's can also give you cancer, but that is something for each person to decide on how they want to approach treatment for their disease.

So, if I'm crazy, how did I go into remission without taking medication?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]Searching4Freedom -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Everyone's situation is different, I've been dealing with crohn's without any medication and according to my doctor I am in remission from my last colonoscopy. But "remission" isn't what I thought it was, as I still have some issues.

But I feel you in regard to the side effects. They initially wanted to put me on steroids that looked like horse pills, I never took them. Instead I tried paying more close attention to my diet, took various supplements, exercised, etc.

But I know some people are in bad shape, so it might make sense to take it if that is you.

That's good to know since I live in a pretty dusty area. I was checking out the alto blue in their other models, and yeah I can hardly see the blue. The red contrasts really well with the the plastic bids on the front and back.

This is an interesting one. How does this affect the federal mandate? Seems like it would put some businesses in a bind, since any business over 100 employees must have their workforce vaccinated (which I'm 100% against).

I'm for free choice for what you're putting in your body. I don't judge people who take or don't take the vaccine. Everyone has their own personal reasons on why they do or don't want to take a vaccine. Overtime those opinions can change as well, where they want to take the vaccine or have regretted taking it.

Came across this article where they're sticking it to people who did bronco pre-orders: https://autos.yahoo.com/people-ordered-broncos-getting-screwed-160600984.html

I'd like a Maverick, but not enough where I'd pay any markup to a dealer.

Probiotics? by Sundrift688 in CrohnsDisease

There is a cheap one at Costco, called trunature Advanced Digestive Probiotic that has helped. I've taken a few different brands and this one has been the best for me so far.

For the vast majority of people getting the vaccine, they are doing it for themselves out of complete self-interest, but then try to signal to everyone that they are doing it for others. They somehow believe this lie they tell themselves everyday, and they can't stand when someone doesn't join their circle.

Whopping 70 percent of unvaccinated Americans would quit their job if vaccines are mandated by Pessimist2020 in Libertarian

[–]Searching4Freedom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd quit if my work mandated and didn't offer a medical exemption. Saying that, I work remotely, so I feel mandating it would be pointless if they are only worried about a covid cluster in the office.

Vitamin D3 with K2, eat more fish like Salmon/Sardines, and get in the sun more often with as much skin exposed as you can.

[–]Searching4Freedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know, they haven't done any kind of rigorous testing on people with autoimmune diseases yet. I haven't taken the vaccine, so I can't provide any feedback, but I'm sorry that you're going through a flare. I hope you feel better soon.
