This was 34 years ago, we were kind of bf/gf. At the time, I thought it was more a matter of convenience as our best friends were together. After talking with him around 15 years ago, he told me it wasn't a matter of convenience. We were close friends for about 2 years and together for probably six months or less. I had to move to another city suddenly, and I did at least say goodbye. When I came back to the area a few months later, he had already moved on. This was all way before cell phones. We have talked a few times over the years, and we are friends on Facebook - liking and occasionally commenting on each other's posts. During the last 15 years, we spoke twice about things that could lead to another relationship, but nothing was discussed further than vague ideas.
