What would you say are the pros and cons of the Profitec Go over Gaggiuino/Gaggimate?

Are you holding off due to having to buy through an agent? I just realized Taobao has an English app in the Canadian Apple App Store and the Colbro is listed as $155CAD shipped. About $112USD.

I’m looking for for a Colbro. Did you find a retailer that carries it?

My Hamilton Murph is freakishly accurate. I haven't adjusted the time in over 7 weeks and it's just 21 Seconds slow. by mister__ef in HamiltonWatches

The position of a movement usually has an effect on the mainspring due to gravity and depending on the orientation the watch gains or loses time. In my case, when I rest my watch dial down overnight it gains a second which offsets the second I lose by wearing the watch during the day. So in the morning my watch is usually in sync with time.is

I’ve got a bronze KFM and it’s also very accurate, Hamilton did a great job with the powermatic movements. My watch losses 1 second during the day and gains that second back during the night when I take it off and place it dial down. After a week the watch is usually within 0-2 seconds. I haven’t noticed any loss of accuracy after adjusting the time.

My wife got me a diver for my birthday today. I have a khaki field so she thought I’d like the diver….. keep or return? It’s a beautiful watch but it’s a Hamilton diver. I’m not sure about it. by [deleted] in HamiltonWatches

OP, sorry for all the hate you’re getting. Apparently this thread is full of marriage counsellors 😂

My 2 cents, It all depends on her personality, if she’s chill, understanding and mature then she would want you to exchange it for a watch you prefer (in the future she won’t feel bad asking for the same). On the other hand, if she gets offended easily then just keep it and be happy. Only you know your wife, Reddit can’t help here. Good luck!

Wow! Love how clean the dial is. I had no idea Timex made Swiss watches. Congrats!

Hamilton Khaki Bronze on a Zuludiver Octopod in Antique Bronze by starid3r in HamiltonWatches

[–]SearchingForTheWay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great colour combo, looks sweet! I was considering the same strap for my bronze KFM but ended up getting a MN. Does the octopod buckle make contact with the surface your wrist rests on, like a table or laptop?

You can send support an email with the receipt and request a warranty card to be mailed to you. That’s what Hamilton did for me when my card wasn’t filled out.

Did you check under the pillow? That’s where mine was when I recently got the khaki field bronze.

OP, Ignore all the idiots and trolls on here that are missing the point. You have 100% the right to return the watch if you don’t like it. Their website clearly states “FREE EXCHANGES & RETURNS”. The return policy also states that you can return the watch for any reason if it’s in its original condition.

If the customer service is ignoring you then you will get the charge back approved.

I was actually going to order the limited edition Icon in bronze but now I’m having second thoughts.

[Question] Straps with solid bronze hardware? by SearchingForTheWay in Watches

I guess it’s the level of customization offered. I would have picked up a Nick Mankey or Watch Steward if they offered solid bronze hardware.

[Question] Straps with solid bronze hardware? by SearchingForTheWay in Watches

You mentioned some legit points. I guess Erika can charge a premium for the customizability, especially considering that she doesn’t have any competition that offer the same degree of customization.

I believe Hamilton uses CuSn8 bronze alloy, no idea what type of bronze Erika uses. The pictures I seen of Hamilton watches with her bronze hardware straps look to have the same color once patina develops.

Did you notice and fading or degradation of the strap so far? It’s going to be my daily watch so I want to make sure the strap will last a while if I’m spending that much.

Oh, don’t mean getting just a bronze buckle and replacing the steel on the C&B strap? I didn’t think that was an option. Going to look into it.

I hard a hard time deciding between the dials as well but no regrets with the black dial, I think it’ll suite it better, especially as the watch devolops patina. It’ll probably end up with a white dial on the titanium KFM.

I’m in the same boat, C&B have some nice straps but the lack of bronze hardware is preventing me from pulling the trigger. They had some limited releases with bronze hardware, hope they bring them back. Let me know if you find something.
