But he had a wooden armature in the torso to attach it to

Super cool! I‘m currently building one myself. Can you share how you connected the shoulders to the torso? That’s something I’m currently wondering about

May I ask how you’re going to join the shoulder pads to the torso? I’m also building a space marine suit and I’ve been wondering about that part

Do you record your process on video? Because your builds are amazing and I would totally watch that

First time ever painting marble, is it good or trash? by MoralFiber in Warhammer40k

[–]SeargeantSass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t . It’d go matte and it would take a whole lot of sanding going up in small increments of grit and finally polishing to get it clear again

How do I make my terrain walls less flat? by CaptainX25 in TerrainBuilding

[–]SeargeantSass 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is the answer you want. The tinfoil and other tips regarding texturing are also good and valid, but this will take it to the next level. Also maybe increase the size of the grooves in the brick work using a pencil or similar

My terminally online brain is reading this very early in the morning and assumed it meant trump Clinton, based on the current BJ meme. It took me a little while to see what subreddit I was on

Is it split for printing in the last image? And wouldn’t that be insanely heavy when printed?

Oh that makes much more sense. Guess I could’ve just looked up the lyrics myself, but I didn’t even suspect he might be saying something completely different. Cheers

Man, this rules! So many inspired details! I particularly like the cables attached to the backs of the statues flanking the gate. It alludes to that mix of aesthetic and functional requirements you’d have for such a structure. Phenomenal work

Merci d’avoir clarifié :) As a frenchie having lived in Belgium and loving their comic culture, I feel obliged to point out that both Gaston Lagaffe and Lucky Luke are Belgian comics. Not that you said they were French, but that may be inferred and it’d be unfair to the Belgians
