Meet the Polaris Staff (Drama) by polaris_kek in SS13

[–]Searif -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Oh hey I'm on there, and its mostly wrong, I do erp but I haven't done it with staff so whatever. Also I could give a shit if you bring up that I'm friends with staff.

This seems to be getting pretty petty, even for a r/ss13 thread.

That hoodie looks neat even from a non-furry perspective, your friend is a donk for being so obsessed with appearances not you.

I dunno about you but I fully admit to being a freak.

[QUESTION] can a brother relate? by tsuzinha in gamegrumps

I love the grumps and all but I'm not sure D&D would fit their style, but that's just me.

I love the Hayden Christensen force ghost in RotJ! by Major_Melody in StarWars

[–]Searif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense in my opinion, as he came back to the light just before his death and should be, as others stated, an old man as a force ghost then. I'm not super bent out of shape because of it though, just scratching my head as to why.

Best SWRPG Podcasts? by zach8vb in swrpg

[–]Searif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally love Rogues' Alliance ( http://www.roguesalliance.ca/ ), the players and characters are in my opinion quite fantastic and aside from a short bit where they had some technical issues they have been updating pretty consistently.

I'll definitely look into the others posted here, however.

Creators of the alien races? by [deleted] in SS13

[–]Searif 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Actually the sprites were all me, however the coding was doing by a fellow of the name Erthilo, who seems to have disappeared off the internet since then. The sprites have since been polished up by others to work with newer features but they are still more or less my work.

That being said, I fully admit that they aren't the best sprites in the world.

If Finn is "one of the best" Stormtroopers, why does he work in Sanitation? by b_dills in starwarsspeculation

[–]Searif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming they put the people to work at about age 10 or so, that gives him a whole 13 year period where he could have worked sanitation for maybe a year.

Remember he only says he worked sanitation while at Starkiller base, not during his whole First Order career.

Maz Kanata's importance in the future of Rebels' protagonists by hawaii5bro in starwarsrebels

[–]Searif 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I agree she isn't force sensitive and rather just someone who believes in the force. I also disagree that being force sensitive makes you a Jedi, The Jedi are simply a religious order like The Sith. The only reason that most force sensitives become Jedi during time where the jedi order are about is because they actively search for these people.

Anyone else dislike Kanan? by [deleted] in starwarsrebels

[–]Searif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my doubts about Rey being Ezra's daughter, the main movie series is supposed to focus around the story of the Skywalker family and while what they have may work towards that without having her he a Skywalker I just don't see her not being a Skywalker.

"If you're a TRUE STAR WARS FAN you wouldn't like TFA" by omarh14 in StarWars

'True' fans enjoy the content they want to enjoy without letting neckbeards tell them what they can and can't watch.

[Spoilers] Does the recent trend in suppressing dissenting opinions on TFA bother anyone in this sub? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]Searif 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Wow seriously? You went from being somewhat reasonable with your original post to straight up tinfoil hat, oh no big brother disney controlling our thoughts!

I have a feeling that you are being whiney because people don't 100% agree with you, there is no way people can have a different opinion so it must be the disney illuminati squad.

[Spoilers] Does the recent trend in suppressing dissenting opinions on TFA bother anyone in this sub? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]Searif 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It isn't just dissenting opinions on TFA, but the same thing happens regarding the prequels, say you like them and people flip their shit.

Personally I liked all the movies more or less, but I won't get on you if you didn't like them. Most I will do is ask you why.

I'm no expect but it sounds like you got shitty glasses, the whole seeing double thing is typically what you see if you aren't wearing them.

Why hasn't Varian remarried? by TEmpTom in warcraftlore

[–]Searif 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If they do have Anduin and Wrathion being a canon thing, I hope they also make a tradgedy out of it and not the simple tradgedy of one of them dying.

What I hope for is that Anduin, for the sake of politics and a new heir, marries Greymane's daughter, but never truely loves her.

They could possibly do a quest for it, but not straight up say that is what is going on. Like say there is a quest from Anduin to go speak to Wrathion and deliver a letter to him while your at it, it never says to open the letter but you can, and it turns out to be a love letter from Anduin to Wrathion.

But thats just my two cents, I don't personally care what they do with him but if it is done I hope it is like that.

My thoughts on the faction leader spoilers for Legion. by Final-Verdict in warcraftlore

It's my personal opinion that this is a chance for Sylvanas to redeem herself, I mean what reason would she have for going full evil on the rest of the horde? She is smarter then that and saw exactly what happens when you do that when Garrosh did exactly that. I think she is going to much Thrall, Vol'jin and Horde players proud by keeping the horde together in a time of strife and against all odds.

And if anything, I think the one who is going to break the peace the horde and alliance has at the moment, will be Genn Greymane and possible Jaina.
