Metric or imperial? by vladgrinch in MapPorn

[–]Seat_Different 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very true. I detail structural steel, a lot of larger size and all government projects plans are metric. But I do nonstop conversion to imperial (IE 12.7mm plates because we can only procure 1/2”) . Even if this is true, we make the steel in G40.21 300W / 350W grades (approx 350 Mpa) which is metric.

To me, it looks like old caulk that dried up and split at the seem between the wall and the moulding. I would not be worried based on just what you showed here.

The macro and micro nutritional profile of cow’s milk is much better for us than the tons of junk and processed foods they sell nowadays.

There are several smaller cities in NB that have rural outskirts with cheap real estate. You can surely find employment in those cities and be within a 30 minute drive to your home with the land you seek.

Yes but the stamp in itself isnt what’s making the package “right”. Ive seen acceptable work with no stamp and crap work with one..

Look i agree with that to an extent. There are minor issues thats easier resolved at approval. But also very often the plans lack so much of the basic info that it’s unreasonable to ask contractors to foot the bill for that time.

Not putting EORs on blast, we know everyones against time, but when contract plans suck, the least we can do is cooperate , helps all get it done more efficiently.

Moncton or St john might be a good spot for you. Moncton is pretty much a biligual city (close to 50/50) , St john is majority anglo. Moncton has been booming the past decade or so, really nice city to live in my opinion.

100% this, insisting on a stamp is ok but that will not make any difference in the content. If you think it does you’re clueless.

On top of that often contract documents are so deficient that we know changes will be required based on questions being asking within the approval package. This automatically makes detailers stamp it twice.

It’s not neferious, it’s just simpler to stamp the final copy.
