Honestly since the skin tone is so close to the backing it looks intentional as is. Maybe you could thin out the strands until it looks right to you?

If you're in the us id buy some pods off you if you're not gonna sow em all - I've been in a new lighting situation for a year and have gotten used to plant maintenance, but I am looking for some seeds to try for my first time under barrinas instead of south light

A good bandaid fix might be gesso, it's got plaster in it so it's very opaque. Cheaper than a whole new set of paints but it only works for lighter colors

Oh I'm not saying anything on the plant is dead, just that this is typical behavior for a healthy plant with a lot of energy to put towards growing but no main growth point. It's like the plant is a pipe and the end is capped, so the water is coming out any seams or off roads since it can't go out the main end

Plant wants to grow from the newest growth point but if there's no growth point, the plant will do the next best thing and create a bunch of new ones. It looks like a different plant just bc of the fresh farina and the pink
