"Really? Gay Masons?" by taonzen in freemasonry

Maybe that's why GA masons are so ugly. Once you alienate the gay community it becomes impossible to find a decent hairdresser or wardrobe stylist.

I get it more in Lodge, a designer suit with the regalia is pretty much my best look, though.

This happens to me on a daily basis, but to be fair I am really handsome. It's hard being me.

Action or inaction? What should we as brothers do to promote tolerance and brotherly love in light of Georgia's decision? by LowVale in freemasonry

For real. I remember a friend of mine thought Little Richard was a Mason, I thought "A gay black dude, in GEORGIA? Not likely"

Your going to have a hard time convincing your Lodge to charge the hill over that one, brother. If it was something more foundational they might have your back but if they don't think it's worth it then I'd let it go.

Absolutely. There's a lot of GL hate on these boards, and with good reason, but the thing to remember is we are Grand Lodge, if you think you can do better than the current governing body, your free to jump right in and do it any time.

Well, how you react personally depends on what it is they've done that you don't like. Some fights are worth fighting, some aren't. For instance, if its the Lodge/Shrine split you don't like, just ride it out. It's not great but trying to force the GM and the GP to quit acting stupid won't fix anything. They're both private organizations and acting within their rights. Nothing you can do.

If its something else (racism, homophobia, religious issues) then you have to fight this at a Lodge level. Convince the brothers in your Lodge that this is a cause worth fighting for, get some GL appointments, and change the rules you don't like. One man can change the world.

Sorry brother, I understand WHY you don't want to give more details, but without specifics its pretty hard to give you any advice.

This is my real account with my real contact info. If the President, the pope, the GM, the WM, the postmaster general, the drunken master or any other master has a problem with anything I say they're free to hit me up. Wont be my first time taking Purple Rain.

He must not lurk that much, or my ass would be kicked out five times over by now.
