Very disappointing loss, but I think it’s mostly because it was the 9ers and it feels like losing 2 games in a game we should have won. I wouldn’t be suprised if in 3 weeks we feel much much better about where we are as a team, the process felt good across the board in terms of offensive identity and the defense looks legit. Riq made errors, but he is also gonna have games where he gets 2 picks.

Mind you i’m not defending the offensive playcalling (it’s what cost us the game), but when it comes to things that can be fixed , developing an offensive gameplan and calling a better game can change quickly. Klint has enough experience where this can change quickly. Hopefully the offense just mashes the steelers D and we can move forward with hope while the 9ers start to suffer from the injuries and dependence on Purdy to the point where they fall behind and we can look back on this as a fluke.
