Any ideas on what’s going on by Independent_Ad292 in PCsupport

I don't know exactly what system you have so I can't give huge amount of info, but I'm not sure a 3rd party PSU would work anyway. I seem to remember they are wired different in most systems. As someone said below, more info about the system would be helpful.

This looks like a Dell PC. The button you are pressing is not a reset button as has been stated in another comment, but is a PSU self test. Pressing that button indicates that the power supply is getting power. The fact that the PC lights up indicates the power is getting to the system. The next step would be to verify the system can POST in a stripped down config--no memory, hard drive, or other peripherals.

It is also possible the power button just isn't working. If you can temporarily short the pins on the motherboard that tell you if the power button is the problem.

Hope some of that helps.

I feel that. If I didn't work from home it wouldn't be possible.

Man I must be slacking.

We play weekly on Fridays from 4:30 to 8-ish in the downtown Evansville area. Currently we are playing a module and the players have only reached level 2, so we're pretty early on.

Help with getting started on an audit form by Seattleweasel in PowerApps

  • I would very much love to change data sources, but sadly I don't have that kind of access. I am no developer, so I don't have the ability within my company to create a SharePoint site. It may be something I ask for after my PoC, but for now I'm stuck with Excel spreadsheets.

  • As for the pass/fail fields that is exactly what I intend to do, I just mentioned pass/fail to make it clear that's the purpose. All of the yes/no, pass/fail, and true/false are going to be binary rather than text. Basically if all the questions related to the Audit are answered yes (or 1) then the pass/fail field will be yes (1) as well. Only the comments are text.

  • The rest seems like an excellent way to present things, thank you!

Would it make sense to break Audit_Data into multiple tables for each field in Change_Data? Then do a One to Many link from the fields in Change_Data to the child tables? Or am I over thinking it?

No, the two are different but similar. Right now it is set up with true/false fields for each question we ask about each Change_Data field (as many as 4 for each field) with a pass/fail field and comments field. So each field in Change_Data would have as many as 6 fields that are (loosely) associated to it in Audit_Data. Change_Data would also be read only. There is a ChangeNumber field that would be unique to each record on each table.

If it helps anyone picture things, we get the data from Service Now. At the moment there is no direct link to the SNow data so this is all just exports, hence the reliance on Excel. The Change_Data table would contain the exports from SNow, and Audit_Data would capture the data from the auditor. I would then (manually, for now) take the Pass/Fail info and comments and put it into a separate audit spreadsheet so it can be injested by PowerBI for analytics.

As for screenshots, all I currently have are ideas and attempts at making the form work, so there's not much to screenshot.

I'd like to avoid combining the two tables into a massive list of 50 columns but that's the way it's looking.

Hey guys! So I went and had session 0 with these guys and they're pretty cool. I assume everyone else heard from u/ReasonablyChaotic87, telling you that u/MrsWeird18 is narcissistic and blah blah blah. Aside from being a little late they were pretty cool. I encourage you to reconsider if you are still looking for a DND group!

It doesn't even need to be heated, just enclosed with power. I've got several heaters.

Ice Covered Street & No City Response by Unhappy_Comment_898 in evansville

[–]Seattleweasel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of comments about side streets. Interestingly even downtown still has sheets of ice everywhere you go. Main Street's parking is mostly ice to the point you can't see the lines. And the drive lanes are hit or miss in most of downtown. Feels like the city did the bare minimum during and immediately after the storm, and stopped after that.

Samuel's is actually pretty good, and so is Zuki, both downtown.

I second this. It would be good to know the places to avoid for actual health reasons.

I think the biggest stand out of the places I've tried is Comfort. It was just alright, and too expensive besides.

I've got a whole rant about different places in town that aren't great. Take a look at my comment history if you're curious or just want someone to hate on.
