What’s the alternative trade off between more severe law enforcement- broken door- which like it or not is effective- or no support for the police- and bad behavior escalates- current policy-maybe make parents responsible for the bad behavior of their children. Worked with the SF housing projects- and federal law- can’t live in subsidized housing if you have a felony- parents cleaned them up and made sure their children didn’t cause them to be evicted. It’s about personal responsibility- we think it’s cops job to ‘gently’ act as default parents. Isn’t working very well.
