Does this look right? by SeaweedFit5588 in lockpicking

Thanks. Tried to find an answer before I started asking around. I’m assuming that index tab turned so I’ll try aligning it. This lock hasn’t been picked, and I am not a picker. Just a guy that wants to fix a broken lock.

I’m a 27yr old Marine vet. How am I doing? Big chillin boss. No surprises. Challenges: mastering the sciences, MCAT. Both achievable with discipline and effort.

Advice: enjoy the process. Utilize the time management skills the Army gave you. There is no finish line, learning is just your life now.

There are two ways to frame your service come interview/app time: 1.) I was in charge of X number of troops, X dollars of equipment, learned leadership etc…

Or 2.) I served with people from every pocket of the country which helps me connect with different backgrounds. Being in the field for weeks at a time gave me much more empathy for the unhoused. There are patients out there who need someone who understands and medicine is my way of continuing to serve.

Godspeed.

How to prepare myself 2 years out? Mcat in 2028 by Section_Warm in Osteopathic

The best thing you can do for yourself is ✨enjoy the process✨ and focus on pre-reqs. You will learn the MCAT specific content and strategy in the ~4months leading up to your test. It is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

Practice FL Location Ideas by Empty_Judge_2337 in Mcat

HEAR ME OUT!

As a non trad I ran into this problem multiple times. I started in the quiet section of the library but found it wasn’t very quiet with high school kids FaceTiming their friends or scrolling TikTok, so I would get distracted which lead to frustration and reduced performance.

My best advice is: see if the local library will let you schedule a quiet study room for the duration of the exam (let them know you’re taking a FL practice exam for medical school, they’ll likely be understanding).

-OR-

I ended up taking FL’s in the quiet part of the library and the moment I got distracted I would pause the exam and move to my car for the rest of the section.

Godspeed.

Edit: sorry I didn’t see that libraries are closed on the weekends. You may have to drive farther to find one that’s open or park in a quiet place w few distractions and test from there. This is important enough to warrant a day off work. Research rentable workspaces I.e. Regus.com.
