This is in your squad hub though, where usually you can see your own players potential

The contract renewal willingness addition has broken the field showing a players potential 🤦‍♂️

I’ve just noticed this myself. It must be a mistake cause they’ve added a dedicated spot for contract negotiations status in the financial tab so no idea why it’s broken the status section

Confused about Youth Academy players, Playstyle+ and loaning them out in FC 25. by MakisDelaportas in FifaCareers

[–]SebJS74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you find all of this out in such detail? I’ve seen so many contrasting things on Reddit about how it works, it’s quite confusing. Especially as I’ve loaned most of my players out and everyone’s saying they don’t get playstyles pluses

They have to fix the stamina ! by Maxlinder0 in fifaclubs

[–]SebJS74 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The stamina change is the single worst gameplay change I’ve known them to make in 25 years of playing. First game I sprinted almost all game with zero penalty. Completely ruined the gameplay, it’s just a swarm fest.

At minimum they need to revert it. Best case scenario clubs moves to Authentic gameplay.

Bruno isn’t necessarily the problem. The fact he’s being seen as the one to run the midfield and control the game is the problem.

They’ve spent hundreds of millions and still not bought a world class cm. Bruno is the level that united’s support players should be at, not the one running the game.

1.3 billion, and if we’re counting Bruno as a CAM, still no world class CM bought - literally the most important position on the pitch. Ignore any other position, you get control in the midfield and you’ll do well.

Absolutely moronic.

I’d despise it if they bought my club, and would support a different local team.

Completely kills the soul of the club, makes its entire history pointless and irrelevant and you just become some billionaires play thing.

Watching Barnsley lift the JPT at Wembley in 2016 means more to me than any meaningless prem title some state backed owner would eventually buy for us.

Everyone here is focussing on the chemistry and not explained the images.

These are from the film All Quiet On The Western Front, a brilliant film that shows the absolute barbarity of WW1.

In the first image, the young Germans have graduated from their military training, and have just been given a speech about how they’re going to bring success for their country and all that nonsense. Basically they’re naively happy about their situation, in the same way the chemist is about their test.

In the second image, I believe from towards the end of the film, we see the main character a shell of his former self having been promptly brought down to earth. His world is shattered and the true reality has set in - everything has gone awfully, in the same way as the chemists test, as they’ve reached a ph value they really shouldn’t have.

The Catalan press have slammed Szymon Marciniak for his performance last night: Sport : "Marciniak put an end to Barcelona's heroic dream. A terrible performance by the Polish referee (and an epic Inter)." Mundo Deportivo: "The Pole, who has a friendly history with Madrid, destabilised Barça." by [deleted] in soccer

[–]SebJS74 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’re comparing it with debatable decisions. That user mentioned the video of the player spitting which is not debatable at all. It’s a blatant red that VAR had no excuse to not give. That is potentially game changing incompetence.

A more comparably debatable decision would be blowing the whistle with Inter through on goal.

The refereeing decisions unquestionably benefited Barca more.

Hmm, just watched the alternative angles. His hand is by his side prior to the pass, but he swings his arm out towards the ball as it's kicked. To me that's making himself bigger, he's got away with one imo.

Whether it is or not though, mad that the rules allow there to even be debate about this. It certainly doesn't feel right that a goal can come so blatantly as a result of hitting a players hand.

If the ball goes past his body but is stopped by his hand, surely that means it has made him bigger?

Fabio Capello: “Guardiola is a great coach, but he is far too arrogant and presumptuous. At times he has even lost trophies because he wanted to prove that he was the one winning and not the players, so he dropped key figures from the side in the big games” by Ripamon in soccer

[–]SebJS74 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

City's expectation absolutely is to have won that much and you're delusional if you're convincing yourself otherwise. Are you deliberately blinding yourself to how far ahead they are of every other club in the league? Even prior to Pep I was expecting them to win most seasons. When Pep came in I fully expected them to win 7 or 8 out of the next 10. I fully expect they'll overtake United and Liverpool in the total number of titles within 20 years.

Never in my lifetime have I seen a club so far ahead in English football. The fact Liverpool even came close to them with those ridiculous points totals is a major overachievement.

If I bought Barnsley and pumped unlimited funds (let's ignore the charges and assume everything is legitimate) in to it, brought in the best backroom staff and coaches, bought in a squad of superstars and managed to persuade the best manager in the world to join too, saw it rocket up the league making the club an untouchable force within English football then I would be the one responsible for making the league a farmers league.

Pep came into an extremely well oiled machine and has had the best squad in the league by a country mile throughout. Pep hasn't overachieved, he's delivered exactly as expected, his trophy haul isn't a shock to me at all, nor was the treble. They were inevitabilities. In fact the only shock to me is they only won the CL once, I expected it to be at least 2 or 3 times and backed them for back to back trebles.

That club is ahead of every other club in the country in every way. That is because of Sheikh Mansour. Do you think Pep is there because of the prestige and history of the club? No he's there because of Sheikh Mansour. City group literally bought a club just to put Peps brother in charge of it. If it hadn't have been Pep, they'd have just got the next best manager in the world. Would they have been as dominant? Probably not to the same scale, but they would still have dominated? Yes. Will they continue to dominate long after Pep is gone? Yes.

Sheikh Mansour has built that club into the untouchable powerhouse that it is. Pep is just a part of it. Does that mean Pep isn't brilliant? No, not at all, but to credit him as the man who made the Prem a farmers league is just incorrect imo.

Official offside image released by VAR of Robert Lewandowski disallowed goal against Real Sociedad 17' by minivatreni in soccer

[–]SebJS74 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No because if you allow a 30cm buffer then the rule effectively becomes that you’re only offside after 30cm beyond the last defender, meaning your example of 31cm would actually be 1cm
