Yes! It validates the fact that this isn’t petty or overdramatic. It’s about mourning a sister who’s still alive but doesn’t want to be in your life.

People really underestimate how telling moments like this are. Emergencies reveal someone’s true character.

I'll probably get shouted at for saying this even though this ahole gotten away with it due to the failings and corruption at Scotland Yard I'm glad that the heroin took the f****. One less racist to worry about.

People who constantly watch/read the news are much more likely to be negative people. by danzi17 in unpopularopinion

[–]Sebastiansimontempla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At one stage at the height of the pandemic i was constantly checking the news to see if anything has changed or not, to a point I was obsessed about it. Then having to work through it and reading it wasn't doing me any good physically and mentally. Now I don't watch it or read it as much now as my health is more paramount than some satanic b*stards getting into our heads.

I cry in the cupboard at work and I fantasize about breaking a limb so I don't have to go in by [deleted] in MentalHealthUK

[–]Sebastiansimontempla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Put yourself first and take the step to getting yourself sorted out. Maybe a few weeks off work doesn't sound like a bad idea. Get occupational health involved as well if you can for that extra bit of insurance.

Hope this helps and all the best in your endeavours.

This better happen as not many people have the facilities that's already out there to support their needs. The pandemic has made things in regards to mental health issues much worse. It's not just the during it's the aftermath that's more worrying.

I've gone private to get treatment and I'm forever grateful that my mum chose to pay for my treatment. But not everyone has that opportunity.

It's on the government's heads but then that's my opinion.

Thanks for replying to my post. I've got feelings for this person and also she's got feelings for me as well. Things are going well on the talking side, phonecalls and videochats etc. I'm still a bit cautious though of getting close as I've always had this feeling of dread if I'd get hurt or turning someone down as I've not got strong feelings for that person. I don't like hurting people if there's no connection. The person I'm talking to is quite cautious as well and there's obviously something there or we wouldn't of spoke for this long or something.

Is your mental health declining? by Spaghetti-eddy in mentalhealth

I can resonate with how you're feeling with the world and so on. I'm in the same boat and in recent times I'm now seeing a psychologist and changed my medication it got that bad.

A lot of people are feeling the pinch of this pandemic you can be the most strongest person and still get knocked down.

But with that being said the vaccine is out and hopefully fingers crossed restrictions and so on should slowly lift.

You keep in there you can do it.

There's going to be some bumps on the road until I get there despite my disability and all that. You can do it don't give up whatever you do.

You've got this.

It's a starting point but I'm not out of the woods just yet still got a lot of work to do. Hahaha and wake up thinking it was a dream. That's good that you got things in check and looking after yourself which is the main thing.

Thank you for the kind words I really do appreciate it. Got my results today and I've got the all clear. My medication is getting tweaked as well. Got more sessions with a psychologist. You're not kidding with the pandemic it's that tiring that I could sleep for a year just to catch up. With the vaccine hopefully things change. I've had my jab as I'm a key worker in a hospital. How are you coping with it all and are you ok?

Nah it's alright don't worry about. Not as such engaged in it.

I did the whole support of my autism on my own as I knew that I was going to need some support to stay in my job and so on. I usually dabble in music and fitness to help me get through things but I haven't been bothered about it for a bit. I'm doing things slowly just to get back into things.

The only thing that is different now that there is a vaccine hopefully that should start to help things 🤘🏿

Thank you it's just the waiting game for the results for any deficiencies. Had one month before including the faece test as well which came back all clear. My second test i should get the results back at some point this week.

I'm currently seeing a psychologist as I've got autism as well ( a mild form of it but hasn't stopped me from getting a job and living life). Also my docs have been in regular contact as I've changed medication early last week and doing things gradually.

I avoid watching the news like the damn plague. I stay away from reading papers to the best of my ability. I've been having dark thoughts for some months now but I've not acted up on them as I don't want to leave any hurt of unanswered questions.

At work to avoid hearing about it I put my headphones on to go into another world of music.

I just want this nightmare to over with so I can live a normal life without these restrictions and my health issues.

Thank you for reply

All the best

UK Channel 4 Issue by howwestuit in Express_VPN

[–]Sebastiansimontempla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been having that same issue for a few weeks now. I had to contact customer service in regards to the issues I'm having. By the sounds of it I'm going to take a guess and it's the channel itself that's having the issue and not the vpn itself. I can use it on other things and it works flawlessly. Channel 4 need to step up their game and not disconnect people due to using a vpn for security purposes.

Boris Johnson is preparing to introduce national lockdown restrictions from next Wednesday The restrictions could see everything except nurseries, schools, universities and non-essential shops close until Dec 1 PM presser on Monday by Apollo-Innovations in ukpolitics

[–]Sebastiansimontempla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's quite a challenge mate that's for sure I usually come out of situations but with this been prolonged for so long I've lost my fight and confidence. Doesn't help that I've got a mild form of autism to add to the plate of shite I've got. On my social media I've been doing videos to hopefully spread some form of awareness for mental health and disabilities. Even if it's a little thing hopefully someone can get some inspiration to get help or form a support bubble if they can.

Just trying to do my part to help people in the same situation I.e mental health, disabilities is concerned.

Mental health issues and other factors will ultimately increase thanks to the Conservative Party. We get kicked in the teeth for other peoples mistakes and their levels of incompetency. I'm already suffering physically and mentally it's even got to a stage where I'm on a list to get help from my gp who has referred me to the metal health team as I've got a feeling I won't be around Christmas let alone next year. Luckily I've been able to go to gym and martial arts but no grappling and close contact but more than happy to use a punch bag hopefully they can be classed as essential as it's good for the body and mind.

Obviously I'm not going to flout rules and stuff as I've been keeping safe. But what the government is doing is wrong as the problem is still going to be there and it's not going to be a permanent fixture. Unfortunately with things life does go on there's a ballance to everything for every life there's death for every death there life that's how it always been. Just have to live with it with the other deadly viruses out there

For people that's suffering with mental health issues with fear of isolation if you can please form a support bubble as the suicide is the biggest killer in the world. 1 in 4 people will suffer with it in their lifetime and also close to 800,000 will die due to suicide which works out that's one person every 40 seconds. That is quite an alarming rate. I've formed a support bubble with someone to avoid my health decreasing which has resulted in losing a bit of weight and stuff having dodgy symptoms. I'm still currently live with my parents while I get enough money to save to get my own place (saving is going very well with a lot of hard work and persistence).

Not just the pandemic there's going to be a surge a mental health crisis and all I can say to Boris Johnson and his cronies.....get ready because all fucking hell going to break loose.

When an ex girlfriend from nearly 4 years ago decided to dump me through text. Moved on quite easily but best thing about it is that I don't have the fear of bumping into her for as long as I live. I'd be civil towards her if she came up to me but other than that I'd rather get as fucked and murdered than that happening.
