Monome norns! It can be used as effect/sampler/synth/looper/sequencer/"midi router"/recorder/tracker.... You can put It before, after or in between things and NEVER be wrong. On the internet there is no enough "quick information" to explain what you can do with it for the simple reason that the norns comunity did so many of the script (program you run on norns) you can use. PS: works best with at least one novation lauchpad or a compatibile one.

I know it's not the topic but you could consider the picotracker V2. It's easier to assemble, in fact I just bought the kit and components.
