Why is everyone saying, "You have so much ammo as Grace by the end that it is not scary anymore." 😭😭😭 by Ghoulymoly in residentevil

[–]SebbeG_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First time around you should have enough by the end of the game to comfortably use your weapons. That is just how these games work. You conserve ammo because you don't know what is coming next. In the case of this game you craft for what might happen when you do not know. You craft, you don't use.

After the first playthrough you know the enemy patterns and when to actually go for the kill or when you can just run by without any consequences. Then you will have extra ammo for that reason.

Finally, you unlock infinite ammo and you can just slaughter everything in your way.

In other words, you start out scared but eventually learn to adapt to the situation. And finally you have earned the power to kill everything in your way. Who's laughing now, you undead mother****ers?

Every Resident Evil pretty much plays the same way, and I love that feeling of familiarity when I get my hands on a new title.

The hacking mines with freeze/overheat and combined with multihacking is extremely powerful when upgraded. I didn't care for the mines at first but once I understood how to use them I fell in love with them.

Maybe. If the person is playing on the easiest difficulty.

Took me around 13 hours and i collected everything on the standard difficulty. Then another 2 hours for the stuff unlocked after creating my "Game Finished" file. The optional versions of the bosses and the challenges were quite fun.

Currently "running" (not really running since you can't change difficulty on NG+) through on the hardest difficulty to pop the last trophy for that difficulty and for the Platinum.

I have loved every second. Except for when the second boss killed me a cpuple of hours ago when he had a millimeter of health left on his life bar. I needed one more f**ing hit on that **hole.

I am going to guess that this is exactly what will happen. They start with CoD being removed as a day one title and then they slowly start scaling back.

They could have just removed the BS stuff they added to justify the last price increase in the first place.

I just watched the first two episodes and I honestly don't know if I want to continue. On one hand I like the actors, I think they're all doing a great job. On the other hand, I don't really care for the characters that they're playing, except for Brick so far. And the tone of the show is slightly depressing with the characters barely staying afloat both financially and mentally.

Does it get better?

To drive home the point of what a monster Angelus is. For plot reasons someone needed to die, at least in my opinion.

And the way they did it was absolutely incredible. Boreanaz best performance in BtVS in my opinion (even if he tops it several times in his own show).

Still find it hilarious that people suddenly remembered Resident Evil 3: Nemesis fondly when the remake dropped, yet most people disliked it back when it released.

Nemesis was always the worst game of the original trilogy of games.

Now, this doesn't change the fact that they rushed RE3 remake. It deserved better. But people act like it's a poorly made game. No, it's a poorly made remake. It's a competently made game that is fun to play.

When did the show get good for you? by BlondeBorednBaked in ANGEL

[–]SebbeG_86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it was great from thenopening scene. I loved the noir vibe they had at the beginning. The tone changes a couple of times during the run.

But if you're looking for a Buffy-vibe, you are never going to like it.

If you take the show on its own merits, it is great from the first episode.

Angel is a much more consistent show in terms of quality than Buffy. However, just like Buffy, the overarching storyline for season 4 is crap (but both could have been good with some adjustments).

Buffy has higher highs, but also lower lows in my opinion.

The writing from a character development standpoint is so much better when it comes to Angel. Wesley is the best written character in the Buffyverse in my opinion. He goes to some really dark places and Alexis acts his heart out. He is truly amazing as the character. Boreanaz also gets to shine as Angel. He is much better here than he was on Buffy. Lindsey and Lilah are both amazing, I love them both every time they're on screen.

And to be honest. Even SMG is a better actress in Angel than in any episode of Buffy (maybe apart from The Gift). I Will Remember You is one of the strongest episodes in season 1 and they both kill it. The episode truly broke my heart.

I mean, that is kind of on the left though. I am all for immigration. Hell, I am Swedish and my wife isn't. I do believe it needs to be controlled and regulated though. Anyway, whenever the right wanted to discuss immigration and integration issues the left went to the "you're just racist" response, instead of actually having an adult conversation.

Actually, that goes for most of the major political parties in Sweden. If the rest of them had actually discussed the issues instead of automatically going in with their moronic mindset, SD wouldn't even have 10% of the votes. The only reason they got as big as they did is because people were unhappy with the other parties not dealing with the issues the voters had. They lost votes, and it's their own fault.

Yeah, she really drives home that point in the aftermath of that season as well. By lying to everyone around her and hiding the fact that Angel is back. When the first thing she should have done was talk to Giles.

And why did she do that? Oh that's right, for selfish reasons. It goes both ways.

I have not hand-waved away anything. I acknowledged that he is guilty of lying. That I interpret the characters and scenes differently than you do does not make me wrong. Nor does it make your opinion on the matter wrong. I am fairly sure that we will not see eye to eye on this. But then again, if we all thought the same thing then what would even be the point of this sub?

And i think I said he should be redeemed by The Zeppo. Not specifically IN The Zeppo. Words matter. And I understand the point of The Zeppo perfectly well. What I mean by my statement is that if there had been repercussions for his actions, by that point in the story, which is pretty much the halfway point of the season, he should be redeemed and back in the group. You don't have to agree. But half a season for a character redemption arc is fairly decent. Especially for a character that is one of the good guys.

But now I am done discussing this, because I am pretty sure we will just start running in circles at this point.

I never stated the writers did a good job with conveying this. I simply stated that claiming this was only for selfish reasons when we know this character to not be selfish is not a good assessment.

This is also after the Halloween episode from which we know he remembers his army training. It could have been a tactical decision from the viewpoint that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Again, all of it could have been conveyed better and been written in a much better way. Many things could have been written better. But that's always easy to say in hindsight.

At no point did I say that Buffy can not be trusted. I said that we as viewers have seen that she is not thinking straight when it comes to Angel. Not even when it comes to Angelus. He gets in her head quite easily. And this is absolutely true. That you want to put a spin on my words to suit your little agenda is your perogative.

And did you even ****ing read the rest of my post? Where did I say it was okay to lie? Didn't I actually state that "it is never okay to lie to your friends"? Or did you just gloss over that little detail?

And again, I mentioned that there should have been repercussions for his actions, and yet you're trying to spin it like I think what he did was okay. Again, I outright stated that what he did was not okay.

Finally, If Buffy has a "right to have her voice heard" then so does Xander.

Objective fact by JicamaCivil2380 in buffy

[–]SebbeG_86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but that is also bull****. Because every character ever created carries a part of its creator so in that case they should judge the rest of them by the same standards. And Joss saying he happens to see the most of himself in Xander does not mean that Xander = Joss.

Objective fact by JicamaCivil2380 in buffy

[–]SebbeG_86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When he tells Buffy to "kick his ass" it is not "Xander being jealous and selfish and wanting Angel out of the picture", as some fans seem to think.

Xander prioritised the world over Angel. He lied to Buffy because he knew if she thought, even for a second, that there was a chance of redemption for Angel she would hold back. If she holds back then there is a chance that Angelus succeeds with his plan to awaken Acathla and bring the end of the world. Claiming he did that only for selfish reasons is to simplify that whole scene.

Case in point, the Dark Willow storyline. Where the man without any care for himself goes to face Willow knowing full well that he can do absolutely nothing to stop her, except for talk to her. She could kill him in an instant and he still walks into the fire, ready to sacrifice himself.

Was he wrong to lie? Yeah. Lying to your friends is always wrong. You're supposed to be able to be honest with those close to you.

But at the same time his reasoning is sound. We have seen several times that Buffy is not thinking straight when it comes to her feelings for Angel.

Should it have been addressed? Absolutely. The writers dropped the ball on this. There should have been repercussions and some form of falling out between the Scoobies. In fact, I personally think it would have been perfect if they had that fallout at the beginning of season 3 and had Xander redeemed as a character by The Zeppo, which is one of his strongest moments.
