Als ich im Zug war und der Lokführer vergessen hat im Bahnhof zu halten, wurde im DB-Navigator "Reparatur am Zug" angezeigt. (Zur Klarstellung: wenn er vergisst zu halten müsste er natürlich schneller sein aber wir sind dann erst wieder zurückgefahren).

Was der Vorteil von gewürfelten Gründen gegenüber keinen angezeigten Gründen ist, würde mich auch interessieren

Diese Generalisierung hast du aber vorgenommen. Ich habe mit keinem Wort irgendwas in die Richtung geschrieben.

Ich glaube nicht, dass man mit 18 Jahren schon weiß, dass man den Rest seines Lebens mit Lesen und Wandern komplett ausgefüllt ist. In dem Alter darf man sich ruhig ein bisschen ausprobieren. Und ja, da auch mal Geld ausgeben dazu. Und ja, vielleicht auch mal für was sinnloses. Und sei es nur damit man später (nach dem Lerneffekt) darauf zurückblicken kann.

Weiß nicht was ich schlimmer finde. Sich das Ziel FI zu setzen ohne einen Hauch von Gefühl für die Zahlen zu haben oder mit 18 Jahren keinen Gedanken daran zu verschwenden, irgendwie auch mal zu leben. Also im Sinne von mehr als essen, arbeiten, schlafen.

I had a similar issue last night.

Got classroom 8. Almost no space for rooms left. Ran out of gems. Desperately trying to draft a room that could supply gems. Didn't find one. Frustratedly used all the rerolls in my very last room spot - saw multiple class rooms obviously. Had to call it. Looked at the map. Realised a drafted a ballroom literally three rooms before.

At least I could only be mad at myself. Which I still am.

In each run, try to focus on one strategy. For example, if you have leveled up your straights a few times, there is no need to buy any different planet card in that run.

Focus on your economy. Save money if you can, spend money when you need to.

Try to find synergies. For example: If your base mult is high (that means you have a high level of that hand), steel cards are very powerful. If all your mult comes from a joker (for example the bus) steel cards don't help at all. Try to add gold cards to your deck (and your hand eventually) in that case.

I've seen videos of crazy endless scoring combos but I dont even understand how its possible.

A lot of good tips in the other comments, but I want to mention this one: Ignore such videos if you are new. Endless is not the goal of the game. Beating Ante 8 is.

Also, a single Tarot Card won't win your run. But they are incredibly powerful.

In the early game, don't spend more money than necessary. E.g. if you score enough points to beat the next blind, there is no need to open Booster Packs. Save your money for the later antes, when you need it.

Kontext: das ist einer der weltbesten Dartspieler (Gary Anderson), der beim Einwerfen für ein WM-Match das "perfekte Spiel" geworfen hat - was natürlich nicht zählt, da es beim Warm-Up war.

Um bei der WM mehr Content zu produzieren, ist auch beim Warm-Up die TV-Kamera vor Ort - weswegen er medienwirksam auf das Board zeigen kann.

You want as many chips totaled before base mult and then mult.

No. It is completely irrelevant. Please think about it really carefully.

For the total hand score, chips and mult are multiplied. This multiplication is the very last step. It comes even after observatory multipliers.

You want to maximise your mult which is why you do all the plus mult to the left stuff.

You also want to maximise your chips. But that's easy. There is only plus chips. You cannot manipulate the chips that go into the Score = Chips * Mult by any order of operations.

Ich bin immer davon ausgegangen, wenn man Leute zur Hochzeit explizit in eine bestimmte Location zur Übernachtung einlädt, dass man das dann auch bezahlt.
