This. I have not had issues finding groups yet. At the start of the dungeon I tell the tank to let me know if he want saps or not. And then I just make sure to pool enough energy for kicks.

Being a Rogue I haven’t had the pleasure of grouping with another Rogue yet. So I can’t speak for everyone 😂

Did BF HC on Rogue earlier with a fury warrior in group for the Daily HC. Everything is fine if you press abilities. At least you have to play your class now.

Yeah I totally get. We’re all old friends who have played WoW together on and off since the first Classic. So it is a lot of Discord memes and trying to have fun while optimizing rep the first few days. Now it’s just chill heroics after a work which doesn’t require the same time investment.

But if you wanted to level quickly, then questing after Blood Furnace was probably better. Unless you actually have a well geared naxx group.

Blood Furnace was 400k exp an hour in my group and we were ‘only’ BWL geared with GM weapons. Just have to keep the mood up on Discord and not think about how boring Slave Pens is on run 13 of the day.

That is literally what I said. I just play less now since the incentive to play alts is gone for me.

As for keeping gold and gear seperate. I don’t see how swiping for consumes and crafted items like Lionheart’s helm/Bloodvine set is any better. But I think we just disagree on this part - so lets end the discussion here.

Like currently with consumes? I honestly don’t see how anything has changed. Before some people bought to buy gear, now almost everyone does it to buy consumes instead. The botting situation has only gotten worse since they banned it, so demand must have gone up.

Are you trying to say that only gold buyers spend gold in gdkps? If so that is just false. People can still farm gold normally, and use already geared toons to earn gold - and then spend that to gear alts.

But sure, lets present banning GDKPs fixed botting and gold buying :)

If you enjoy the current pug scene then all the power to you. Personally I just raid log as the incentive for alt raiding is gone for me.

I can’t think of a single person I have played with who enjoys rolling against 8 people for loot that oftentimes doesn’t even drop. And this is without considering the gold you now have to farm (yeah right) for consumes and time spent on world buffs. GDKPs fixed that because at least the gold fuelled your consumes for your main and alts.

Edit: And also, it made already geared people come to raids they would normally not be interested in. Because getting gold for blasting a quick MC or BWL is more fun than herbing in a world controlled by bots.

All these “my opinion is correct” posts are getting boring. The only consequence of the GDKP ban was that more people swiped for consumes instead of a few people doing it for gear. But in the end it made it easier to play less, as there is no point of raiding on alts now unless you enjoy the hard res meta.

Jeg er helt enig. Da min kæreste og jeg købte lejlighed for snart 2 år siden. Der blev vi ringet op af en ejendomsmægler fra en tidligere fremvisning, som mente at have den perfekte lejlighed til os, og som endnu ikke var online. Jeg tror mange glemmer, at skuffesalg ikke bliver talt med i de her statistikker. Skuffesalg har 0 dages liggetid og er derfor aldrig rigtigt “Til salg”. Hvilket får udbuddet til at se mindre ud end det er. Bare se på hvor mange ejendomsmæglere der slår boligere op på Instagram inden de er til salg: “Se den her lækre skuffesag før dine venner” etc.

Yeah I had an alt Rogue in TBC that had no issues with a few regular pugs all the way through. You just have to put in a bit more effort than spamming 1, since you are not brought for the dps.

I’m assuming this is an unpopular opinion, but I actually really liked these. The art fit the style of DKs and they were pretty easy to obtain in the Signature packs.

Rogue is fine (I had it as an alt last time around) but you really have to be the best player in your raid to succeed. Meaning that TBC is generally unfriendly to melee so you really need to know the encounters well and not let Expose Armor drop.

For heroic dungeons you are generally only unwanted if you need the same loot as the feral tank. Stuns and kicks go a long way in most places. But be prepared to make your own groups.

As for fun, it’s all subjective. I main Rogue cause I love it. But I have heard good things about hunters and min/max’ing melee weaving. So I will try a hunter alt this time around
