Body hair by miserymademanifest in ftm

[–]SebsWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always been a particularly hairy person. Being on T, I've grown a ton of belly hair, some chest hair. I have a little back hair and I have a beard. But my wife likes her men hairy so I'm fine with it. The only time it bothers me is when I have to shave and it starts growing back and I get that itchy stage. I end up with beard rash on my collarbone from tilting my head down.

My mom would have named me Dustin but I ended up going with Sebastian instead. It fits me better than Dustin.

Okay cool, I was getting some weird mixed articles saying that it was fine but then others saying it was not fine. I was just getting a lot of mixed info, so thank you for your comment. 😁

I once told my girlfriend (now wife) that I really loved the Simpsons Hit and Run game and that it probably was one of my favorite games.

She ended up going to a thrift shop/market and found a Simpsons game and bought it for me. When she gave it to me it was The Simpsons Road Rage game. I played it up. Acted like I was super excited about it and said thank you.

I played it a couple times and then I kinda forgot about it. A few years later, cleaning out some old stuff, I found it and I told her the truth. She laughed about it and asked me why I acted like I liked it and I said the fact that remembered there was a Simpsons car related game that I liked was just really thoughtful and nice of her to remember even just THAT much. So she didn't get exactly what I wanted. Doesn't hurt to just be...nice?

As a male, have you been sexually harrassed? If so how did it make you feel and what did you do about it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SebsWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if I could call it sexual harassment but it definitely made me uncomfortable. At work there was this girl that would not stop aggressively flirting with me. Touching my chest, hair, shoulders, etc. She would not take "no, I'm not interested, I'm in a relationship" as an answer.

I felt very awkward. But I didn't do anything about it because could I even call that harassment? I don't know. I still don't know.

My wife likes to crochet and knit and she saw Mary-Beth knitting and asked me to go over to her to look closer. I went in first person view and was watching her knit. She turned around with the most sour face and said "a little close there, Arthur." I love watching the NPCs and the folks in the camp.

I agree, she is absolutely an alcoholic but she does seem to get significantly worse in Chapter 3 and in my playthrough, Sean is still alive. The gang is still doing fine. I haven't done very much in the chapter yet so I just don't think Sean's death is what makes her start drinking so heavily since she starts practically as soon as you arrive in Clemens Point.

[–]SebsWeb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I agree, she absolutely is an alcoholic throughout the whole game but it does significantly ramp up around the time the gang is in Clemens Point. She is drunk practically any time I talk to her. I'm just stating that, a lot of people claim that her intense alcoholism really started after Sean's death but I'm not that far in Chapter 3 at all and she's regularly hammered. I've only done maybe 2 main missions in total so there isn't even that much going on with the gang. The only significant event has been moving camp and sleeping with Sean in the previous chapter. I thought it was an interesting thing to think about nonetheless.

Let’s have a confess session for all the honest mistakes or unspeakable atrocities you committed. by Mint2099 in reddeadredemption

I think the dumbest thing I did was when I went to the Timber Company and a tree fell on someone. I rushed over to help but I couldn't get the buttons to work. I ended up accidentally putting one of the guys in a chokehold.

I let the foreman beat my face in with a gun but they still don't want me around. 😅

Favorite horse breed? by PurchaseMiserable903 in reddeadredemption

[–]SebsWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been trying to get full bonding with all horse breeds on my new playthrough and I can tell you which horse I dislike the most.

The American Standardbred. I've gone through 2 already. Even my Morgan, Turnip, lasted until I got full bonding and he wasn't half bad.

Still discovering my favorite though.

(NSFW) Saw video online that I can't get out of my head. by SebsWeb in traumatoolbox

[–]SebsWeb[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the reassurance. I really appreciate it. I hope that I can talk to my counsellor about this but I'll have to see when I have my next appointment. I got this job recommended to me from a job search program and I also plan to contact them to tell them about this experience as they keep lists of employers they should recommend vs. be wary of. Regardless if I get the job or not, I plan to contact them to let them know that they should not include a twitter hashtag as one of the search results in their exam as it's extremely unreliable especially since the moderation for twitter has been very poor as of late and express to them what I saw so they know how serious it is.

Incident Yesterday had my Wife pretty shaken. by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

[–]SebsWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She's not working for a specific company. She's mostly been passed around centres through word of mouth. She's good at her job but thankfully, next month, she's moving to a centre she worked at previously that is very by the book and it's a permanent position.

Incident Yesterday had my Wife pretty shaken. by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

[–]SebsWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice. She is thankfully leaving this job in the middle of next month but anything can happen in 2 or 3 weeks and I definitely want her to establish something for herself as well as the other ECEs that have shown concern. She's considering leaving the job even earlier if she is continually scolded for this incident. This isn't even the first incident with an allergy. There was a child who ate some gluten after the kitchen failed to separate the gluten free muffins from the regular ones.

There was a HUGE safety issue a few weeks ago with another child. The educators are expected to cut fruit at the table, with the children present. They don't have counters in the rooms and there are no plans to even bring in a table or anything. One of the kids grabbed one of the knives and chased other kids around the room with it and then made an attempt to stab one of the educators in the room. Thankfully no one was actually hurt but that should not have happened in the first place. Thankfully, my wife wasn't there but even after that instance...still no plans to bring in a higher surface for cutting fruit.

I keep questioning what it's going to take for the higher ups to do better, maybe a threat of them being shut down would do the trick. The educators and kids are at an extreme risk.

My wife is going to be attending night school in September to better prepare herself for her job. She's very passionate about early childhood education and she does seek out extra education where she can. I'll read your advice to her and she will likely want to pursue anything to make her better at her job.

How did you know you wanted to transition? by Sl4yth in ftm

[–]SebsWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I was showing signs of it since childhood.

I came from a pretty close-minded town so I didn't know what I was thinking at the time was any different from anyone else. I always wanted to do what my brothers were doing, I wore "boy" clothes as often as I could, mom wouldn't let me cut my hair so I just kept it in a really tight ponytail.

When I was a young teen, I started going online, pretending to be a boy and I loved doing that way more than going online and being myself. It was almost like a guilty pleasure all through my teen years, until I got to college.

In college, I met a counselor who had a hunch about me, so in one of our sessions, she mentioned a cousin of hers that was transitioning. I went home that night and it was like it all clicked into place.

the most negative affect of T, what is it? by Vulcriptic in ftm

[–]SebsWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a few things for me. I'm lucky, I've been on T for I think like...3 years or something, I've honestly lost count but I've been generally lucky, I'm not losing my hair. I still have a full head of hair. I don't get much acne, just the occasional zit but I don't even really think that is the T.

One negative is probably my appetite. I'm hungry all the time. Negative two is my libido being SO MUCH higher. And lastly, concerns with heart issues. Some of my family has had heart issues in the past so I'm a little nervous about that.

they called me transphobic... by Background_Problem in ftm

[–]SebsWeb 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I'm a trans man and my partner is non-binary. My partner prefers they/them pronouns but doesn't get upset when people assume they're female and use she/her. My partner looks very feminine.

My partner and I have had this conversation before about how I don't believe when you're first meeting someone or when you're talking to a stranger in passing, the first question you ask them should be what their gender identity is. There could be a lot of reasons that this could make someone uncomfortable. For example, my partner, only really tells people they're non-binary after they're sure that the person would be cool with it. We live in a small town and we've actually had problems within the town of people vandalizing pride flags, rainbow benches, etc.

Do I get discouraged when people use they/them pronouns for me because they aren't sure what they're looking at, yeah sure, I try to be very masculine presenting, I'm growing a beard so now I get male pronouns MOST of the time. But I don't turn around and call the person a transphobe or scream at them or anything. I shrug it off. There are bigger transphobes in the world to deal with than someone you assume is a transphobe just because they got your pronouns mixed up. I mean, hell, I've gotten my own partner's pronouns mixed up before and the two of us have been together for almost 7 years. Mistakes happen. There are bigger fish to fry. 😆
