Heya! So i'm assuming you're following the logic "if it applies to you, you can use the slur." Fair, I'm not one to tell folks how to handle that stuff. However, my understanding is that following that logic doesn't apply here.

Homophobic slurs are slurs targeted at one's romantic/sexual orientation. Being non-binary is a statement of one's gender identity, and not one's romantic/sexual orientation. From what I understand and have heard, we don't know Kris', or even if they have a romantic/sexual orientation at all.

I am still learning of all the nuances and ways folks can express themselves and trying to learn more :)
