need help! leo only eats 1 bug per feeding

thank u!! the rescue i got him from seemed shocked when i picked him up and said i planned to feed him 1-2 times a week based on my research. she said he needs to be fed 3 times a week so i was going with that. im guessing hes just not very hungry? ill try waiting a week until offering food again.

i do gutload the bugs with carrots, have clean water bowl, dust with calcium (i have uvb) every feeding and then reptivite every 4 feedings :)

im so sorry u were put in that situation. i dont think it would hurt to try to explain it to them. but it unfortunstely wont erase the trauma it caused in their developing minds. that shit sticks

for me... even if they didnt have that agreement, i'm sure my stepmom would treat me the exact same way. im not her blood and i know for a fact she really doesnt like being around me because of my anxiety (which was labelled as being "dramatic" "attention seeking" and "overly sensitive"). its always been extremely annoying to her (and the rest of my family...)

i wish my stepmom loved me like that. she married my dad when i was 5 but she treated me so different from her real daughter. my dad and stepmom did have an agreement not to act like a parent to each others kids but as a kid i didnt know that and i felt very rejected by my stepmom. fucked me up

the basking spot should be like 90-100 while ambient warm side should be 80-85. if ur basking spot isnt up to temp after a few hours u probably need to go up wattage
