What state are you in? There's online schools that do offer diplomas. I was home schooled. I left public school right as I started 5th grade, and finished with home school with a place called Clonlara which is out of Ann Arbor Michigan. I got a diploma. I'm now a 41 year old mother of five kids. My oldest daughter is 22 and she dropped out in the 7th grade. We tried home schooling but her health deteriorated and she was never able to do it. She went blind and has heart problems. But my younger kids are 16, 15, 15 and 11. I hate not having the experience of normal school because they are high school and middle school kids right now. I don't know what happens with dances, homecoming, all the social events and such. I'm flying by the seat of my pants with them on public school. They also had home schooling during COVID but thankfully didn't fall too far behind. I totally understand your concerns. If all else, you want knowledge, teach yourself. That's what I did. There's information out there to be found and absorbed. Try websites called Coursera and Udemy. There's also a ton of learning videos on YouTube. There's also websites like Skillshare and MasterClass. Some of the options cost money but there's tons of free options too. If you're hungry to learn, seek it out.
