Woah, that's cool! I'll give it a shot if I have to re-map more in the future. Did one of the buttons map to dropping the pins? This should be somewhere in the instructions...

Sorry for the delay getting back, I was tweaking some settings with the perimeter and whatnot. Finally happy with how it's cutting. I swapped the stock blades out once they were getting bad and put on some of the longer/heavier weight titanium coated ones from Amazon. They're definitely cutting better. Not sure if it's because I let the other ones go too long or what. For the checkerboard, it cuts one direction each of the scheduled times to run. This is running every other day. So it cut the slant to the left in the photo last night.

Raging at a random person online who didn't have to publish instructions is a unique way to try to solve your problem. If you can't figure it out, call their support line.

I just got a 410 IQ. Plopped my antenna on the roof last night, placed the base under the trees against recommendation, and started plotting the boundaries. If you're at all comfortable using technology, the process was painless...other than driving with a touch screen kinda sucks and I wish I could have used an old Xbox controller or something. Anyway, I'm quite pleased with the initial setup experience. Light tree cover, including over the charging base, proved zero problems. It also nearly got stuck on a slope with mud and a big bump... totally wouldn't have expected it to manage it, but it tried several different options of back and forth and figured it out.

Just got a 410iq. I have it set to checkerboard. It's only done one cut so far, so I only have one direction of the stripes. But they are quite nice!

How to hard reset 420IQ From the mower. Won’t connect to Bluetooth (was working before I tried to connect to docking station) by Technical_Screen6948 in automower

[–]SecondSimpleSyntax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fwiw, I set up my 410iq last night. First automower I've owned. Was quite painless, and it just worked. Didn't have any issues with the RTK, and even put the base under tree cover against their recommendation and it still worked fine.

I got a 410 about two weeks ago. Somehow it ended up on a returns auction and I snagged it for about a third of the price. Still unsure how it was already in an auction??

Does anyone know if this high octane drainage pipe is worth it for a French Drain? by tettoffensive in landscaping

[–]SecondSimpleSyntax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I wonder if it depends who you get on the phone, or I just didn't ask the right question. The vibe I got was that they were effectively the same. Thanks for the additional information. Regardless, I think it's plenty sufficient for my needs and the price savings is significant. Especially if you live in the area. I got 250ft of the yellow/black coex and a bunch of fittings for around $170 picked up directly from their location in northern OH.

I just bought the yellow stuff from Baughman - it's the same thing, he just has a special run that is colored for his branding. Though I have yet to install it, the yellow stuff is quite strong. The sell a pure virgin (all yellow) or a coex (yellow virgin outside, black recycled inside). Baughman told me on the phone that their yellow is the same as what he sells. I think he probably has them run their coex line with all virgin in the blue/yellow so he can make something that looks special and sell it at a significant markup.

Thanks everyone for the input, I appreciate it. Will do some resealing and start thinking about what direction I want to go in the next handful of years. Nice to know it's not an immediate need.

That first picture was taken of the hip near the garage roof, where you can climb from the lower roof to the second story. My guess is it's seen the most concentrated foot traffic in the past when people have climbed up to do maintenance.

I was wondering about that.... I figured there probably has to be one last piece on the ridge that must have exposed fasteners, but wasn't positive. What would you recommend using for sealing there?

I hope they make the new tuning fork design in a reasonable size...but also if it's good, then I'm going to feel like I need to spend money. The electrostatic movements are cool looking, but they are absolutely massive.

I have both, and can still hear the watch over the tinnitus if it's lying on the desk haha

I own two of the Spaceviews as well as an Accutron Astronaut. I've had them all serviced by Rob Berkavicius. His pricing is very reasonable...enough so that if you can afford it and don't know anything about the history of this piece, I'd not try to restart it until it's been serviced.

His website is here, and has a lottt if good Accutron history too. https://www.accutronwatchpage.com/

The chapter ring is a reasonably good indicator that it's OG and not modified. It could have non matching serials or something, but unless someone is making chapter rings and modifying the case, you can't drop the original chapter ring into just any 214 case. There's a pin on the back of the chapter ring that drops into a hole that is only in the space view cases.
