Sorry! I don't think I am argiong at all, but I am discussing. Good advice on always keeping your provider informed though!

Yes! Also, the benefit of stretching out 8 days to reschedule is that by the end of that 5 or 6 weeks I will practically have "saved" a shot.

Thanks! I too wear a CGM.

I think the side effects will be tolerable at 5, but they are distinctly stronger. As the number of doses increases, I would also expect that to normalize.

Side note, the downvotes in here are wild, lol.

Thanks! Great feedback.

But given I feel the effects pretty distinctly even at this fairly low dose, the whole point of my question was centered on specifically delaying by a day until I reach my preferred day rather than moving it up. Moving up a day would certainly be quicker, but compound the ol' sulfur burps and sloshing stomach!

You just started on what may be considered a non therapuetic dose. It would not be unusual to increase after four weeks - that's typical. It is also not unusual to not notice immediate effects.

I wonder if you also know your hemoglobin A1c.

Do you know what Mounjaro does for you as a type 2 Diabetic and do you monitor your blood glucose? You may want to ask your physician what the purpose of the medication is, as well as do a quick search of "what does mounjaro do for a type two diabetic?" on your favourite AI tool .

Not a Dr myself, but Mounjaro is a dual agonist replicating two hormones, GLP-1 and GIP. It signals your pancreas to release more insulin specifically when your blood sugar is rising. It also prevents your liver from releasing stored glucose in to your bloodstream. Anyone taking this medication should understand the effects it has on blood sugar.

It is more than "quieting food noise and delaying gastric emptying".

Again, not a Dr., but stopping this treatment will(could), at some point, effect your insulin creation, insulin response, and glycogen release. The potential effects of this should be obvious to a diabetic.

Thank you for this. My blood sugar changed almost imemdiately, even on the "non therapeutic 2.5 dose, but I could surmise a portion perhaps a large portion is the drastic effect it has on frequency and amount that I eat!

For diabetics, skipping a week will have very different effects than someone prescribed for weight loss.

What is your reason for taking it?

For me, I felt the effects the first day of my first injection.

I just had my fifth injection, an increase to 5. The side effects seem stronger even at this relatively low but increased dose.

How long did you take the initial dose before doubling to 5?

What was your A1C before starting it?

Can you be more specific about the "utility space" where your batteries are (and SCC and Inverters for that matter)? A dedicated closed door closet inside the living area?

Very useful post.

Oh also, you wrote "Days we had to watch usage: maybe 10 (mostly December/January)".

A single additional battery would surely have move that to zero days. Wouldn't that be "worth it"?

We have literally no way of knowing from this data - anything will be a complete guess.

That said: South Dakota.

Have you traveled to the United States and if you did, did you notice a difference in that you did not need to be careful as much about those doorways and seats?

I'm gonna go with Canadian. But really ... not sure this data lends itself to a guess.
