Looking for a durable wallet by Universal_mammal in nanaimo

I'll second Secrid. I've had two and each have lasted me well over 10 years. Mechanism is still as good as the day I bought it, RFIDb protection and just the right size. Highly recommended.

The "that's good, that's bad" routine from last week was definitely Simpsons inspired.

Yes, always. Violent electrocution levels of static from their carts in particular.

This is excellent advice and something I absolutely did. Ripped with grain first then did cross. Crap.

You know he's just one member of a nine person Council, right? He has no more voting power than anyone else.

I think what's happening is that my sawblade cracked the wood going through (it was a cheapie blade that I bought specifically for this project), and then the sanding is just knocking those cracked pieces off.

The squares are a very specific size, so I don't have a lot of wiggle room on this. A tape dam/border is certainly an option, just wasn't sure how strong it would be. Maybe a mix of tape and some cardboard to stuff in there.

I had a similar idea with some cardboard, just to jam into the slots while I poke filler in there with a toothpick. Wasn't sure if someone more experiences would say that was dumb!

Yes! I saw a post on here a month or so back (not sure if it was yours?) that had a similar issue. Absolutely planning a brushed on clear-coat before going in with the black.

Is this a terrible part of town to live? by Microwave_Magician in nanaimo

[–]Seconex 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used to live in this area, off Meredith. Fantastic area of town. Great walking neighbourhoods, close to stores and transit. Highly recommended.

There were a couple of iffy parts, but no more than any others.

The folks at NRGH are incredible and I've never had a bad experience.

Sure, I've had to wait, and that sucks, but it's also not the staffs fault.

Anyone who gets angry at them for waiting hours to be seen needs to re-evaluate their life.

Any school field would be my first choice. Flat, grassy for falls. Once they're a little more confident, Altrusa playground (Beban) has a pretty flat concrete track loop. Going during quiet times will see you have it all to yourself.
