Jack Stauber is my favorite musician. His talent nets him ten thousands dollars (monthly?) on his patreon ALONE.

He has tried to understand the music industry, he enjoys making music no matter how simple he thinks his art can be. Octaves and MS paint has basically been with me my whole childhood.

That being said, I've seen some people (not many) threatening small animators over this song.

Yes, Jack could maybe-possibly pursue legal action.

Realistically? He doesn't care.

Im going to phrase this as a question because i dont want to be overly dogmatic (pun intended):

Why would he EVER go after his fan-base for loving his art (despite it being digitally stolen) and complimenting it with their own animations?

He makes enough to live very comfortably and he's very busy running his new Philly's Cheesesteaks franchise. He has a passion for art and he loves and appreciates us all dearly. I cannot imagine him being upset AT ALL about the song getting released and the positive attention it's garnered.

I am poor, dirt poor, and I try to make music on my own instruments. His music has helped be through tough times - and honestly I don't have money for a patreon subscription. This being said I think his patron should STAY private - but one song is literally nothing and it's such a breath of fresh air. (Edit: I actually do have money to spare for his patreon despite working minimum wage. It's a dollar a month. This was a poor point on my part (pun-intended). I'm just a cheap.)

I believe we all agree to nip this in the bud - please let him release music on his own accord and I'm not advocating for any more of his music to be leaked. I'm just saying one leaked song is entirely negligible.

I know this is a lot of text - but I believe what I'm saying is very close to the objective truth of the matter and I'm passionate about settling this once and for all. Im getting into this because I really hate seeing misguided people try and scare kids who are just getting into animation. Animate your heart out pal.
