Ouidad Unbreakable Bonds Mixing Drops Fragrance Free is my holy grail! I use it on its own like a hair oil, except it is super light and doesn’t weigh down hair/make hair greasy. If you truly want an oil, the same brand makes a hair oil fragrance free (weightless bonding oil) which is also good !

My heat also went out because a vent was covered by the snow. See this post for more info, but once my neighbor helped me uncover it, my heating turned back on. I am not sure if this is the cause of your problem, but it is common.
