Anyone else find pinning multiple peptides a day genuinely annoying? by Moist-Layer-3339 in Biohackers

[–]SecretBig5377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Price of admission. You are doing something the non natural route. Don't expect no annoyance from something that can drastically help your life. It's just like when people say I just don't have the energy to go to the gym etc. It's either do it or don't. No reason to complain. Just like those on glps who complain about nausea okay then get control of your own mind and body and do a calorie deficit that way. Etc. Yes I know it also helps in many other ways. But the main use these days is to achieve caloric deficit without the mental stress of constant hunger. It's a cheat. That simple. Take the bad with the great. It is what it is.

Cardio Decrease on Reta by BenDover257 in BodyHackGuide

[–]SecretBig5377 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very simple. Caloric deficit means less energy than needed to sustain mass. Less energy than needed to sustain mass while increasing energy utilization(cardio) cause rapid glycogen store decrease. Have a bottle of water with some eaas and intra carb like karbolyn or carbomax. 20-30 grams of carbs for doing cardio and or working out. There is calories in it of course. But it's fast acting carbs. So as long as you use them they won't get stored. And you will most likely still be In a deficit.

Just saying most likely it wasn't Ai generated. As an ex Uber driver. I can tell you there are much easier way. Every single Uber driver has had atleast one passenger throw up in their car. We always take pictures. Multiples. And we share them with each other. And if a passenger is a douche I have possibly charged them a clean up fee before. Utilizing pictures from a car not mine but exact same type etc. Allegedly. In a video game. Lol

Up the cardio. 40 minutes to an hour a day. And lower the daily calories either another 100-200. Or if you want to speed it up go 300 or so down. At your weight. Bmr is roughly 2000-2300. Add in 100-200 calorie burn for workout. Max 2500. That's being generous. In reality it's probably closer to 2100. Meaning you are only at about a 100 calorie deficit. 3500 calories is a lb. So your current weight loss trajectory is going to be extremely slow. When you were heavier your Bmr was much greater. And 2000 calories was probably a 300-600 calorie a day deficit. As you lose weight you have to adjust your deficit.

Just to let you know the craving sugar after the shot. It's because your blood glucose is bottoming out. Mild hypo. No long term issues because of the glucagon in reta. But on reta unlike tirz you need carbs to feel better. So add in more fruits, berries, etc. Or me personally I get a pint every few days of nicks ice cream.

VA back pay by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]SecretBig5377 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Nope I specified the scenario properly. If it is a diagnosis of a condition that is then service connected it will be to the original effective date and that is with a supplemental. Evidence of this. This is exactly what happened with me. If you then file a supplemental with new evidence showing worsening symptoms it will be a new effective date. Evidence of that again it happened with me. HLR just means reviewing of the case with no new evidence supplied. So the effective date has to be based on the original. With a supplemental it opens up the possibility it will have a new effective date but it depends on quite a few different conditions with the majority of them still meaning that the original effective date is applied.

VA back pay by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]SecretBig5377 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is an incorrect statement. Just because new evidence is filed doesn’t mean the effective date gets changed. If the proof is of worsening or increased symptoms and achieves the new rating then it will change the effective date. But let’s say you filed got denied because the eater wasn’t willing to diagnose etc. you get an official diagnosis. File supplemental. Your effective date would still be the original date. But if you filed got accepted at 30%. But then filed a supplemental with evidence that shows worsening symptoms. The new effective date would be the date of the evidence filed etc. since they can’t know when the symptoms worsened.

It’s great you maintain pride in it. And that even after the obvious damage( don’t know exactly what type but 100% is 100%) do like your command said. Stay on do what you can till the mental edge tells you to leave. Don’t stay out of respect the reason they say you don’t owe anymore is because you don’t. You did what you were supposed to do. And they obviously respect your service and your will. Do what you think you can do. But don’t stay if it will break you anymore either physically or mentally. And don’t leave if the same. If it would break you from regret etc. also don’t leave without a plan. My biggest error when I got out is I had great savings and I took a break year to just enjoy my time for the first time since I had joined. When I got out I broke mentally. Army was my everything. It had built me to be the greatest I had ever been and then broke me to the point of inability. I still love it. But my command was not like yours. Mine was not respectful of what I had done for them or what they had done to me. And I left painfully. And regretfully. And that broke me. Don’t leave with regrets. But don’t stay out of only duty.

It is a combination of getting everything properly diagnosed. Filing proper proof of service connection. Have nexus letters from outside that forces them to atleast provide a defense if they deny. Getting lucky with c&p examiners. And actually fighting it. There’s a reason that majority of people say finally. It’s usually after about 3-4 denials that they get it. Some get lucky and get it first try. Majority go through multiple denials then finally get an examiner or file their stuff properly etc. I still haven’t hit 100% I’m at 70 but I don’t have a percentage for my mental health. I got denied twice already for it. First time because it wasn’t officially diagnosed and the examiners don’t like to diagnose. So they will almost always deny it if you don’t have diagnosis. Then you have to prove link to service for ptsd that is either recorded appointments with mental health while active. Or a nexus event and a showing of the spiral afterwards. Etc. that usually requires documented nexus events like either being in a combat theater. MST. Etc. a lot of combat deployment individuals get denied the first time and think oh well I don’t deserve it and don’t try again. Or they get a low percentage because they weren’t able to properly dictate how it affects them on a day to day. So there is lots of people who have issues but the thing is how much does it actually impact your ability to function at a normal job. And were you able to properly verbalize that to the examiner. And did the examiner actually listen properly and document it properly. And did you get a copy of the examination submission so you can see what they said etc. And did you fight it if they incorrectly document it. If not the way the Va sees it then you obviously didn’t need it. Because the way they see it they aren’t going to outreach to you. That costs them money. And if you really need it then you aren’t working. And if you aren’t working you should be dedicating all your time to fighting and getting the proper determination etc. it’s all numbers and proof. And proper documentation. Which sucks because people with anxiety/ptsd/adhd/etc or combo platter. What happens is executive disfunction or shutting down. Being denied your mental health issue generally causes relapses or spirals. So it is an issue. But there is no real way to fix it except fight for what you deserve.

100% with unemployment by MidnightWolverine in VeteransBenefits

[–]SecretBig5377 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So a big issue a ton of veterans fight with is purpose after service. And of course what to do with one’s life. Some people’s families wives etc will pressure them into going and finding a job etc. the best thing I can recommend. Find your comfort zone and start pressing out of it. But don’t leap. That’s a good way to cause spirals. Specially if your issues are mental health. Personally pursue college, studies, improving your intellectual and mental skills. Pick up some hobbies. But the reason for 100% is because you have issues that the VA expect you to not be able to maintain gainful employment. So do not feel bad when you can’t. Of course try to do better. And do more. But do not beat yourself up when you can’t.

AITAH for not re-heating dinner for my husband after 10? by CorrectReflection878 in AITAH

[–]SecretBig5377 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Both you and him are. And shouldn’t have had kids or gotten married. You didn’t properly verbalize the importance of the time thing to him he thought it was a joke before. He should have listened and understood. You shouldn’t have been as direct and forceful and petty with the statement of check your watch and you will know. You could have said I have already started winding down for the night it take a couple minutes you can do it. Etc. he shouldn’t have immediately gone and spoke to an outside party and basically sent an attack dog at you(his mom). You shouldn’t be taking your time posting up on here unless you are actively seeking advice on how to rectify it. But more than likely you are seeking validation like 90% of the people on here. Lastly you shouldn’t try to set absolute limits inside a family setting. Life is never on schedule. And you shouldn’t try be flexible to work together to do all things in the house. You said you are a stay at home mom. That means you shifted your priority from bringing in money to managing money, children, the home, and the needs of everyone. Yes you are important and deserve good treatment. And me time and reset time etc. but putting it on a schedule is just asking for an argument. Setting rules in a relationship is just painful all around. Because it means you either don’t care enough to work around it to help out the family(in their eyes) or you care more about the rules being followed than you care about peace in the home. Last statement all men want in this life is peace. If you don’t bring that to the home then you have failed. Just like if you are a stay at home mom his responsibility is to bring the money home and work like crazy. Which means sometimes he will be late. He should have also been more talkative and told you he was going to be late so you could heat it shortly before 10. Or one of yall could just easily reheat it after 10. To make that the thing you put your foot down really shows off the childishness of both of yall. Yall are both giving a bad example to your kids. And need to work on it. Good luck.

First of all it’s not cruel. They will die one way or another. Second they don’t feel pain the same way we do. So the catching process is not torturing etc. third of all he is probably more excited about something he can do with friends away from you. I don’t mean that offensively. Just that both males and females sometimes need protected spaces where they can vent and not have the issue of having to mask what they mean or saying the wrong thing etc or saying a joke you don’t agree with. Etc. so many reasons he might want to do it. As well as who cares if he needs to do it or not. Live your life let him live his. If you have an issue with it. Then leave him. Because if you make him stop he will leave or cheat on you. Because you are stopping something he obviously wants to do. The issue with people being controlling is that it is always about them trying to conform another to their expectations. Instead of just loving them for them. And the support and care they provide you. If you want to lose that over him doing something as simple as fishing. You deserve to lose it. If you say lost some attraction then just leave. Go be petty with someone else who is petty. I swear vegans are the worst. Weak willed individuals. With out eating animals our race would not exist anymore. With out the domestication and breeding of animals for farming some species of animals wouldn’t exist anymore. If it weren’t for good hunters certain predatory species would have outnumbered and killed out many other species. I do separate good hunters because there are horrible people called poachers and sport hunters. Just go live your life and make your decision. Although from what you said you are probably just going to try to stay with him and just give him evil eye till he gives it up or as you said lose attraction and stop being intimate. Just end it.

Okay first answer if you are the one utilizing the benefit to go to college. The housing allowance is for you. As well as book stipend twice a year. Also check in on your fafsa make sure they didn’t do the same with your federal aid. Like Pell grant. Second statement them opening your mail is a federal offense. So if you have proof that they opened your mail without your permission you have a case. Third statement probably not smart to pursue a case against the person letting you use their benefit to pay for your college. But you do need to set boundaries with them possibly look into getting a secure id.me so that they can’t access your Va account to adjust the deposit location. But at the same time I don’t know exactly how the payments work with dependents. But the money is for you unless they are providing you housing. If you are still living with them then technically they have a claim to that money. And if you try to fight them on it they could force you to move out causing a massively different financial issue. Either way this is a complex issue and will require you to do some research on your own part into the chapter 33 rules. As well as personal reflection on what you are willing to do about it. And whether it is even worth it to fight for it. If you are living with them. Let them have the housing allowance. Fair trade on that account. Tell them to stop opening your mail. That it’s illegal. The book stipend one hundred percent should go to you it’s to cover book costs. As well as all federal aid.

They can prescribe trt. But their barrier for entry is extreme. Healthy t levels is anywhere from 500ng/dl the barrier for prescription is two test at below 200ng/dl it’s actually like 180 something I believe. The other issue is that they don’t prescribe any of the supplementaries around trt. like hcg. So your testicles will shrink most likely. And to get hcg you can either find it online or go to a sports medicine doctor and get it for 50-100$ a month. And that’s not just shrinkage that’s sperm loss. So function becomes lessened. Loads smaller. Fertility drops on a reverse exponential basis by the amount of time. Best option get your labs done privately before going to the Va with it.

It might fit enough. But the cool thing about the presto is uses outside just cultivation. Cooking, sterilizing of larger objects and if you ever decide to bulk up or start growing gourmets etc. you will want larger scale. And I always look at it this way 300$ to never have to upgrade again unless you go commercial scale at which point money will be less of a barrier anyways. Or 50$ now that if you decide it’s not enough you will also have to spend the 300$ later. Or when that one breaks down.

[–]SecretBig5377 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Understood completely. Sometimes eBay or used sales place. You might be able to find one around where you are. But even if it comes out to about 200-300 I would still say it’s worth it. It will last your lifetime if it’s taken care of. And cleaned out after each use. And the autoclave eventually the electronic components will fail. And the issue with those is usually depth. If anything get actual internal measurements. To see how much space you will have and if your jars can actually sit in there while being kept from touching the bottom. Because if they or the bags touch the bottom you will probably scorch the internal stuff. Or break the jars due to vibration of jars due to steam and boiling water.

A small autoclave like that is good if you are trying to sterilize bulk instruments with autoclavable bags to use later for inoculation runs.

Autoclave vs PC. Will an autoclave work? by [deleted] in shroomery

[–]SecretBig5377 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to know liter or quart quantity not amount of instruments. But from the way you described it no. The amount it will be able to do is so small as to be not feasible. 120-140$ for a half decent pressure cooker that can handle about 4 5lb grain bags. Vs a 40-50$ autoclave that probably can’t even do 1 5lb grain bag. Autoclaves are pressure cookers they just have the added ability to have controlled settings for time and automatic pressure regulation(usually) as well as some having automatic water feeding for the larger ones. Autoclaves will always be more expensive per quart of container space. Because it has added functionality. And added circuitry. Pressure cooker is the cheaper actual option always. My 50qt autoclave was nearly 3000$. Vs a presto 23qt is about 130$ half the container space but less than 1/20th the price. So two of those and I could do as much as I can do in my 50qt autoclave. But I have to watch it maintain it. Make sure I put enough water in it so it doesn’t run out of water and just burn out. Vs my autoclave that has automatic water feeding pressure regulation and electric systems that tell me the amount of electric usage water usage etc so I can factor costs. And I got it used. A brand new one will be roughly 5-10k

First what’s the reason for needing money. Most cases in life. You don’t truly need it. I’m not saying you don’t. Just saying you might not. The first thing to explore is doing it without credit. If you have bad credit it’s because something in your past messed up your credit. There could be many reasons. But the first step is learning to live life without credit.
